Man you're videos are beyond eye opening and a genuine wake up call. Im a 48 yr old single parent of 2 teens that are about to graduate HS. Soon as they've established themselves as adults im moving to Thailand. I refuse to keep tricking myself as to thinking the American Dream still exists. Thank you for making it make sense.

I live up the street. I am jealous of your balcony without the AC compressor but the condo itself is awkward. Next time you go condo shopping you might want to consider a kitchen you can close off with a sliding door. You probably won't cook much but having the kitchen in the middle of the condo will make clothes and couch smell like whatever you cook. That isn't a full size fridge and your cooktop is ridiculously tiny and no way can you ever fit two of anything on that stove with both burners on. Also it's probably ceramic cooktop and not induction which is the worst, cheapest POS you can possible cook with and when you turn it off it stays hot for 2 weeks 555. There is no perfect condo here in Bangkok, I know because I have lived here two years and looked at so many. Our rent is the same and if my landlord raises it I would consider moving but I highly doubt it because I had her take all the furniture out and bought my own. I am tall like you and the cheap tiny couch and hard mattress was a no go. I bought a very expensive comfortable mattress and glad I did. Another thing about condo shopping is how much street food is within short walking distance of your condo. Nice condo overall. I'll say hi when I see you out walking. I came from a 5,500 sq ft home and although you can fit two people in the condo for a couple days, living together is another matter. Girls come with a shit ton of stuff and that is just for the bathroom. If you actually moved in a girl to your condo full time you would regret it within a week. 35 sq ft is too small for two people and you are literally on top of each other 24/7 no escape. I would rent two condos in the same building the relationship would last longer. People not from Bangkok would say why not just rent a bigger condo...the reason is 90% of all condos are the same size 28-35 sq meters and usually 12,000-20,000 baht. The strange thing is when you get a second bedroom which isn't all that much bigger it's 30,000 baht and if you get a big condo over 40 sq meters they start at 50,000 baht. I would rather have two condos at 70,000 baht and 70 sq meters.
