That vintage Mickey Phone was made at the Western Electric plant on the Eastside of Indianapolis. My late Aunt Hettie worked here but not on the Novelty line.

Oh my gosh! I cannot handle how cute everything is! The little open ceremony! When is Japan...put cheese on a pancake? I cannot! Mickey instantly went to Miles! NOODLES are the best! That Mickey...muffin?...is so cute! I would try everything just to try it! Even if I don't end up liking it.

Hey I had that phone as a kid! Chris and Amanda! I can't believe this whirlwind adventure! Miles, I hope you know how lucky you are to have these experiences in your life. You can read about cultures and history, but truly experiencing this is the best educational lesson! Enjoy Chef Mickey's! You need to do a comparison when you get back state-side, and visit Chef Mickey at The Contemporary (WDW). Can't wait to get the updates as you continue your Six Castle Summer! Enjoy!

I couldn't agree more. They always make me hungry. I probably shouldn't be saying this, but how fun next time you are in Southern Cal, for a handful of us to get together at Goofy's Kitchen in Disneyland Hotel. I would be more than happy to be the designated photographer to take photos of all of you together with the characters as they come by. Haven't been there in more than a decade. Just another thought from Uncle Martin's attic. I do so love feeling like I am with Amanda, Chris, n Miles on this, (and all) journey, getting to experience places I will never get to see.

That seemed amazing! I loved the build your own mickey cake pop. Mickey was so full of energy I loved seeing him! 😍 I like that you get called back to meet him. Its better than a tableside meet and greet. It's much better for pictures.

i love your Japan trip vlogs. I went every year until Covid. I always bring a bunch of the freebie buttons DL gives out at the park ie Birthday , First visit and celebrate . The Japanese squeal with delight when I hand them out! Didnt know so many people love goofy over there. Cast members arent allowed to take the buttons but I leave them next to them anyway. Have a great rest of your trip!

OMG what a wonderful character dining experience it truly was so much fun being able to hang out with my favorite family you guys as you enjoyed so much tasty goodness also it was nice to learn how they do their character meet and greet compared to here at Disneyland also it was such a joy seeing Miles and Amanda as they got to hug Mickey and nothing can make you happier than to feel like a little kid again and give good old Mickey a hug so I must say that truly was a dining experience like no other thanks again now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Chris Amanda and Miles and I’ll see you on the next awesome Provost Park Pass adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
