We tried a new clutch! Could this clutch be the best price vs value? Find out on this video as we give our 2 cents after using it for a year. MCB Clutch RZR XP 1000
Disclosure Update 11/24/23:
We did have some inconclusive issues with our mother clutcher. The seller did warranty the parts. We needed to replace our big tire kit as well so we wanted to try this brand. Mother Clutcher reached out to us to let us know that most of the main components in the MCB, Mother Clutcher, Aftermarket Assassins, and Gilomen are being produced by the same oversees manufacturer. When one of the companies like MC makes an improvement to the parts the mfg. passes the improvements to all the sellers. So your basically getting the same parts on all of the brands and all of the parts are getting better. MC stated that he was even offered the opportunity to sell MCB's upgraded shaft and face plate. I can only pass one what I was told for you to discern for yourselves. Still no sponsorships have been offered to date.

Just put a Mother Clutcher on my 2017 XP4 1000. Got 11.6K out of factory clutch. Still works decent but is pretty worn. Also got the MC secondary. So far, just been up and down the road here in AZ and put about 30 miles on it. So far, so good. Hitting the desert this weekend and seeing your blown sheave has me concerned. Not too keen on changing out a primary in the middle of nowhere. Planning on keeping my machine so if I have issues, probably gonna just go with a $1900 Duraclutch

I got 1400 out of stock. Rebuilt it then got 600 more. Dunes are full throttle and hot. Lots of stop and go exercising the spring on primary.

At 1900 miles my General primary bit the dust. Was considering MCB, but they seemed too inexpensive to be good. This may have changed my mind.

Hey do you great videos, I have a Twenty fifteen razor 4 900 eps. With about 3000 miles. And my clutch rollers do need to be replaced. But for the whole kid. I noticed that the mother clutcher was about 280 and I was wondering if that would be a good clutch to go with. We don't do rock crawling or heavy duty sand dunes, just a lot of 2-3 trails would that be the best bang for the buck? Any info would helpful. Because with the holidays I can get it in about 4 to 5 working days.

Any new cluch and belt should fix that... If you have a shiny spot in your belt that will cause jerking. If you have caked up belt dust that will keep the clutch from downshifting. Blow out your clutches every couple of rides.

@@chrisallen3741 if your not slipping and glazing belts. Then you are probably fine with stock configuration. I like to keep the mantra of KISS. "Keep It Stock Stupid" Its nice to be able to get parts readily available and keep things the way the engineers design things so that it doesn't become an endless slope of upgrades. Sometimes the belt is supposed to be the thing that gives.. I have some specific rock obstacles at my local terrain park and the little larger tire spare scraping my trailing arms. But even with a clutch kit I glaze an occasional belt with the heavy tires. There is only so much a clutch kit can do without some mechanical gear reduction.

I put the epi clutch kit on the first one that failed. The second one that failed had all stock components. Its an ofroad machine so there is a chance that the harsh driving environment is a factor but I haven't broken anything besides axles and belts on this machine. No wrecks or rolls.
