Talking about an uphill battle for Malta! Even after rohbrot donated his army under the fixed gun it was still so hard for revnak to get ahead 🤦🏼 You may not like the guy but revnak deserved that win!

Wow , Rarely get to see that "Heavy Fortification" card to strait up save the day like that, I feel like i learned something today but do i have the APM(actions per/min) to even try that UNDER the PRESURE of an all in revolt. What's interesting is that it wasn't out right wall spam(Multi layered walls right behind each other) but small/smart wall placement here in there that slowed his enemy's movement just enough or to deter a push coming to early.

It is amazing how Malta is supposed to be a turtle-y 🐢 civ, but since its best composition is Crossbow-Pike (mostly because Order units are not affected by the civ bonus), it ends up being an aggressive civ. Just because Crossbow-Pike is naturally aggressive.

Chile have a card for the TP line, If I remember right. He should have got the TP line before revolting. Those basilisk... They do poison damage, so they can shot troops too. Really nice game.

i think rohbrot instantly after revolting should have gone north with pack of hussars. he knew revnak went there since he raided this part of the map with rods before. if only he reacted faster, revnak wouldnt have enough time to react those raidings. even with hella healthy villagers those hussars could be a painful thing to deal with

Spain should have advanced to Age 4 earlier. It's not wise to spend resources in combat against Malta fixing guns and walls without the mortars. GG

nearly 20 mins in, thats 1800 gold from capitalisms for Spain, factory gets 2175 gold in five mins, maybe better to get factory instead but you really need that early gold

A bigger issue was not building Trading Posts and Town Centers beforehand. Plus, I think because of how many turtle-y 🐢 effects Malta has going for a revolt with a better late game like Mexico, Peru, or Gran Columbia (less so on a non-water map). Peru is probably the best on a non-water map. Especially with how many houses 🏠 were available to be destroyed with low risk.

@@UniDocs_Mahapushpa_Cyavana I don't really agree. If it's not an eco revolt, setting up eco that persists afterwards is largely a useless effort IMO. Military revolts need to settle the game ASAP with an overwhelming force of buffed units and CM. I agree that the revolt in general was a questionable move, as was the eco management up to that point that lead to a huge deficit.

@@jordanb722 Every single one of Brazil's good-enough-to-use effects and cards 🎴 are grindy. Especially the constant free spawning of Voluntarios da Patria. And it has many Town Centers and Minas Gerais (better Citizenship) to quickly re-boom. It is even grindier if you include cards like 2 Covered Wagons in your base deck (+2 Town Center build limit).

@@jordanb722 Brazil's resource generation potential including the spawning of Voluntarios da Patria is so high. Its cards and effects are so grindy. The many Town Centers also make producing Citizens be very quick.

lets give the turtle civ guard culvs that take 3 shots to kill! Makes sense. Oh and lets add poison damage to them in case you mis micro and the enemy culv survives!
