In today's video, we discover the worst lens for landscape photography, the Viltrox 75mm F1.2. However, it may be one of the best lenses a non-native Fujifilm manufacturer has ever made. The PRO Series Viltrox lenses are outstanding!!!
Make sure to download the RAW Files to see how excellent this lens is, with sharpness from F1.2 throughout the aperture range!

Superb photo Matthew. The contrast and sharpness is impressive. Been to Flinders many times when lived in Australia. Your photography shows the natural beauty well. Take care. Ross (Hiroshima)

Hi Matt, glad to see you doing well. I am presently in Lofoton and I have the xh2, Fuji 16 55, 70 300 and Viltrox 13 f1.2. If I was going to take one lens it would be the 16 55 it matches so well with the xh2 and probably 75% of the images taken so far are with 16 55. My Viltrox 13mm is awesome , it is extremelly sharp. The Viltrox 75 would be a lens on my wish list but I have the fuji 90 f2 and could never sell that lens so probably the Viltrox 75 is a little close in focal range to my 90mm for me to buy. Fantastic image you have shot as always Matt. Stay well mate.

Looks like a cracking lens but for me a zoom is just better for what I do. I use the 13mm f1.4 for auroras but the rest of the time I carry my 10-24 because it's lighter and more versatile, there are lots of occasions where zooming in or out with your feet isn't possible especially with the fragile icelandic nature. If I shot portraits I'd give the Viltrox a go but for me it just doesnt suit what I do.

If there was a need for it and I was working for a client then, it would be worth considering Matt. At the end of the day, as the saying goes, the right tool for the right job. The image quality certainly looked impressive and hope you are doing ok too

I'm tempted with this lens but can't decide between this or the fantastically sharp 90mm f2. I do like shooting street with the longer focal lengths and recently borrowed the 90mm to use on my XH2s. To be honest I've only heard good things about this Viltrox lens. I'd love to see a head to head in low light with the 90mm f2

Viltrox is my favourite 3rd party lens manufacturer for fuji. The 13mm is one of my favourite lenses for the fuji system. If it's not number 1, it's in the top 3, including fujifilm and all other x-mount lenses. If they can produce and nail a good either 60 or 100mm macro lens (manual or AF) for $400 next, that would be spectacular

This lens probably offers the shallowest depth of field of any lens for Fuji … except maybe the 200f2 ….. I wouldn’t carry it hiking for landscape photography but still a handy lens

Only primes I use for landscape and travel is the Samyang 12 for the wides and astro and the 35/1.4 (most overrated lens of the century) for the ocational portrait. Apart from that it's zooms all the way. Quite strange though cause I've allways felt it easier to compose a picture with primes.

I cannot stand zoom lenses, not sure why, it just annoys me but then when I get into a landscape situation, I do regret not having one haha
