Pepi needs to move. He can’t become an elite 9 playing as a sub every game. He should do a Sargent and go to the EFL Championship. He would bag there.

Pepi doesn't need to move. The average ages of the top-ten(for goals) forwards in the Top 4 Leagues: Serie A 27 EPL 26 B1 26 La Liga 29 Sargent is 24. Pepi is 21. They're both developing their games in the lower/mid-tier leagues. Sargent will likely move to a Top-4 league by next season. Pepi has plenty of time to develop in that direction.

The reality is as talented as Pepi is, his development is still years behind elite forwards at his age. Our top players like Pepi need to playing in the academies of clubs like Eindhoven by 12-14 if we ever want to create truly elite players. Unfortunately, European work permits make it very difficult for our players to get into the youth systems of top clubs at early ages unless they are fortunate like Pulisic (Croatian) and Reyna (Portuguese) to qualify for European passports with very recent direct family members. That’s the reality.

Pepi has an Italian passport - I think he’ll be good, he’s just stuck behind someone who’s balling right now

@@edbrown4800 His paternal grandfather is from Argentina. His paternal grandmother is from Portugal. Reyna has a Portuguese passport. That’s how he was able to play for Dortmund so young.

seems Jonathan David may leave Lille, and so Pepi needs to move and try and replace David!👍 would be a great statement if he can succeed there!👍

Pepi is doing fine. He is 21. He has all to learn and to improve. Leave the man alone. At worst, he'll get the Olympics.

21 is when a player show their potential he hasnt shown anything when he not going against 3rd world countries

@@aaronnilestoussaint5672 Pepi has 7 goals in Eredivisie play. In UCL play, he has 1 goal against Sevilla and 1 assist against Arsenal. He has shown plenty of potential.

He was overhyped by USMNT fans US soccer board needs a vast overhaul and the MLS needs to stop being a joke. Their Academies should be free and be more aggressive when it comes to recruiting kids. MLS teams need to adopt the Brazil/ etc mindset of actually training these kids to be great. Watching many USMNT players you can tell theyre 2-3 years behind other kids due to it.Tyler Adams has a great build and talent but he cant dominate a midfield because he doesnt read the game at that level yet.
