Жыл бұрынTurda Gorge has one of the best Via Ferrata in Transylvania, Romania. It is less than an hour from Cluj Napoca city (Romania) and it is accessible all year long.
Since I was visiting my family for the Holidays in winter, I decided with my brother to go out and do this route. It was pretty cold in the morning about -4C, but we still went with the plan and we had a blast.
Enjoy the video and some bird's eye views of Turda Gorge.

Thanks mate! I wanted that intro to be longer with more shots, but my hands were frozen on the remote of the drone, so I could't fly more :))

Last year I was back I hiked Negoiu and 3 other peaks in Fagaras. It was pretty awesome!

@HungaroExplorer Thanks for the Info. Did it today. If you start early it is fine even on a hot 35C day as it is in full shadow. Spectacular views. We loved it. My wife struggled a bit but only in her head😅 she climbs grade 5 indoor so regarding strength it was totally fine for her.

Is there someplace near there where you can rent equipment?

I think the closest place is in Cluj. Maybe summer time you can rent from smaller companies closer, but not sure.
