I owned pulse 2. It was such a capable synth. Sold it and bought iridium module. I sold it and bought the keyboard. Least missed pile of cash I’ve ever parted with. The iridium keyboard is exactly as you said, a masterpiece. I cannot imagine a time when gen it will be Dated or “remember when we thought the Waldorf iridium was hip? Hahaha”. That will never happen. It’s a once in a decade synth, maybe. A lifetime. I use mine as main controller as well. I will be buried with mine.

About using the filters in series: I was in touch with Waldorf and explained how incredibly useful this would be…. they are looking into making this happen!

Nice jam! I'm quite new to this. So I understand, am I right that only two of the sounds in your intro jam came from the Iridium and others came from... elsewhere? Like, what was doing the drums? I'm just trying to get my head round whether this thing can do an entire track or is just part of a track. Also, this vs. the new Core version? Many thanks!

I don’t have the keyboard version, but I do have the Desktop and it is an amazing synth. Extremely feature rich synth, and highly usable with the brilliant approach to the UI. You mentioned you are a swing fan, have you tried it with Squarp Hapax? If you haven’t, you might like it more than the Oxi One.

Nice Video!! The filters cannot be routed in series unfortunately. You can however use the digital former as an additional filter in series.

I was reading a reddit thread from 9 months ago, titled "Iridium Filters - Series Routing? " , where a Quantum owner responded that the 3.0 firmware has the option for filter routing in series. Have you been able to do that on your Iridium yet?

@@RapidFlow_Shop I read this on Gearspace “The Dual filters are parallel only. The Digi Former can be run in series before/after the dual filters and does contain some, not all, Dual filter like filter types. You can't run all 3 filters in series. You can also run the Digi Former in parallel to the Dual filters. There are also various oscillator to filter bypass and blend capabilities. It's very flexible.”

Thank you.... more please... I thought my iridium was going to collect dust but it's so easy to program and it does such a wide pallete it's nice to have all your sounds in one place... analog, digital, fm, organic, wavetables... and fast to program and modulate
