Grotesque that she's deciced to double down on her collaboration with Helgstrand at this moment in time and use her privilege and platform to push the sport further towards the abyss by whitewashing the abuse and corruption Helgstrand stands for. Is there no end to the greed and lack of integrity in this game?

Also that she is competing the horse so soon after acquiring it….i would want to get to know the horse and build a proper partnership first

Yes! Last year, the animal-cruelty training methods of the Danish dressage rider and company mogul Andreas Helgstrand came to light through a TV report. The pictures from the Helgstrand stable showed brutal training, without any compassion or understanding for the horse. Andreas Helgstrand was banned and is now not allowed to ride in tournaments or train any youngsters for a few years. But who cares when Helgstrand runs “training centers” all the way to the USA? He recently organized a master class in Florida with prominent speakers, including Isabell Werth. Is it really necessary to appear smiling side by side with an animal abuser who has so blatantly violated ethical principles? Ms. Verth and Mr. Kittel enable Mr. Helgstrand to circumvent his ban by introducing his top horses and so business can continue in the USA. Ms. Winter-Schulze should be stripped of the Federal Cross of Merit again. Hopefully she can refine or work through the tension and loss of rhythm issues in the pi/pa. The horse is clearly talented.

Besides profiteering from all those horses utter misery at Helgstrand Dressage which I think most people find repugnant, she wobbles all over the damn place like a jelly on horse-back, her tight little clenched fists look just that, tight little clenched fists. What will make people stoop to doing to gain advantage in the ring one wonders. Buying success and glory seems to be a German speciality, no partnership, no love of the horse just win win at any cost. Didn't they learn anything from Totilas. Helgstrand's horses should've been taken into protective custody by an animal welfare organisation and there allowed to live the rest of their days pain and stress free, haven't they been through enough already at the hands of that vile pathological abuser. He doesn't deserve to be able to make a profit out of these sensitive, sentient animals that he systematically tortured.

Finally!!! Someone who sees what I do!!! Thank you! I come from Dressage in the 1970's and 80's. I am no expert or Olympian rider. But I was fortunate enough to train and learn my seat. How in the world did this lady get named the "Queen of Dressage"? She is a horrid rider. Noisy legs, hands, seat. I swear she has to change her panties after every ride! Completely over-exaggerated movement of the seat. Behind the vertical at all the extended movements. Over gripped hands, very "noisy". No balance. Horses trained in Rollukur or whatever u call it. She just plain sucks. I've been banned with my comments before but truth hurts.

Is it just me? To me Werth looks like a most inelegant rider where riding looks labored and obvious. No subtlety or grace. Looks like the horse was struggling big time too.

I completely agree . Watching her swinging body in the one times was almost funny. This was a laboured performance with Isabel hanging onto a tight curb all of the test. The passage and piaffe has no hind lift. Wendy also kicked out once due to discomfort. Why didn't she stay home and work on the self carriage for a while. With care and sensitive riding this is a nice horse. Rushed before she was ready . That of course wasn't Isabel .

She brings out the best in the horses she rides. That looks like one hell of a huge trot to sit. Canter too, bouncy!

Isabell usually looks like she is having a workout on the horses back. I have yet to see any true lightness in her riding….

Looks rushed and she is a coarse rider with very tight-gripping hands. Not a fan, even though she is at the top of the sport.

Should probably go back to Basic, find the balance of the horse. Work on collection and lifting the withers. Even in the backing exercise, one can see the horse pushing itself backward with the front legs. Piaffe was nowhere to be seen. More like a horse completely out of balance just trying to lift its legs in some way when standing still. The curb bit is constantly pulling backward. Sad to see some calling this dressage. It has nothing to do with it. Hopefully, we'll see true classical dressage flourish again, so we can see horses carrying themselves with good strength, balance, and pride. Horses that are proud and comfortable with what they are doing and with their rider. Not some business of legs bouncing here and there. What's also interesting is to hear a dressage horse canter, and it sounds like a freight train. A balanced good canter is almost silent. Poor horse! The way the circus called high-level dressage has evolved, they should probably look towards. Classical and academic dressage, to sit in the school bench and learn basics. Learn what the exercises do in the body, why you do them, and how to ride them. Plus a very important detail. Take time to let the horse develop, and also be aware that very often it's the rider doing something wrong in the body when the horse doesn't do what the rider thought it should do. Not punish or scold, but try again to focus on your own body. and For God's sake, let the horses have space and freedom to carry their heads as they feel comfortable.

You should put som glasses on and take another look. This is NOTHING like ballet. A very tense horse who tries to understand its job with a rider that is hanging in the reins and pushing the horse forward with her entire body.

I’m very interested to see what she can achieve with this mare, the mare always looked so worried & tense under Helgstrand ( hell show me a horse that doesn’t ) but Isabell had a real way with Bella Rose 2, so it will be interesting to see if she can release a happy soft mare out of this one…..

I don't agree with the negative comments about this horse and rider. Dressage is meant to be like ballet on horseback. . and to me, that is exactly what I am seeing here in this very elegant and well executed performance.❤❤

You should put on some glasses. This is horrible riding and you can see clearly that the horse dont have the strength to do this. And Werth is hanging in the horses mouth. You think this is ballet? I would say more like a rave party...
