It amazes me how little people really know about those Piston teams of 87,88, 89, 90. They confuse what was a marketing ploy with what was in actuality. A really amazingly good team. And a great player in their leader, Isiah Thomas.

Joe Louis Arena was rocking! That was the day the nation found out how truly great Isiah Thomas was and that Detroit would be heard from in the near future.

The only reason some people can put more value on Magic in over Zeke is because Magic can play all 5 positions, but that point guard can't nobody touch 11, the man scored 26 points on ONE LEG in ONE quarter against the Lakers...G.O.A.T

Any player in this era that was great HAD to be a good defender, sadly you don't see many players today put in the work on both ends of the court.

This is one short clip lol showing a couple bad calls. All the "oldheads" aint lying. Look at the hard screen on Isaiah in the beginning, that's a foul nowadays. If you watch old playoff games from back then you'll get it.

Every single one of these calls was soft and most of them the refs were 20-30 feet away. If more people had seen this game it would be analyzed like Kings-Lakers Game 6.
