Day 7 of 7 Days Surviving on a Remote Island in the South Pacific.
Spearfishing and foraging for food as we set up camp on our very own island. Gorge on coconuts and papaya that grows wild here and search for tasty ocean treats to spear and eat. Definitely the tastiest days food we've managed to source for ourselves since we have been here

All fish were of legal size and were speared for consumption. I abide by catch size limits, daily takes and no fish zones. Over the past 6 years I have made the commitment to no longer buy fish, so I only eat the fish I catch. Spearfishing is the most sustainable form of fishing on the planet, it is also the most environmentally friendly form of fishing when practiced well.

Cool stuff Fiji , Diving takes a lot out of you especially day after day for a week non stop. I dive eat, dive sleep ,dive wakeup , sell and start again.

I think longer would be fun but maybe more water and would require a better camp set up. Yeah shes a gun! I was actually fine the next day after a proper feed and a goodnights sleep

Fat out mate can tell you both were struggling by the end there. Glad those Korean noodles hit the spot 👌🔥 Those parasites looked nasty af eh. Hope ya don't get any parasites from the trip. Just make sure if you're still feeling lethargic in a few weeks ya go get checked out could also be coral toxins too Pending algal blooms etc 👌 stay wet legend.

Hey sam you seem like an expert at spearfishing, so i hope you can answer my questions. Im a total noob never spearfished in my life, i would love getting into it tho i know nothing. Is it possible you could give me some tricks and tips about spearfishing and telling me what gear i need (When i say gear i mean from speargun itself down to divergear like the suit and gloves etc.) Hope u have time for answering my questions, love ur yt channel :))

Hey man, im glad you are getting into spearfishing its honestly soo fun and super rewarding. But it can be dangerous my best advice is to listen to Noob Spearo and try and locate and dive with someone who has real experience to teach you. Where are you based there might be a spearfishing club nearby?
