Spearfishing in the paradise Yasawas Islands fishing Spanish mackerel for dinner on a quick one hour mission to one of my favourite reefs in Fiji.
Amazingly we managed to bump into Rhys from No Viz Adventures on Nanuya Island staying at Sunrise Lagoon Homestay run by my friend Tevita I highly recommend staying there.

All fish were of legal size and were speared for consumption. I abide by catch size limits, daily takes and no fish zones. Over the past 6 years I have made the commitment to no longer buy fish, so I only eat the fish I catch. Spearfishing is the most sustainable form of fishing on the planet, it is also the most environmentally friendly form of fishing when practiced well.

Great place, i hope you are there for a couple of weeks the yellow shouldn't be to far away, the reef about a mile of Monu worth a look.

@@WetMammal Give Bonini a call at Tavua , sleeping giant but dives better than most in that area, everybody knows him and if your paying for the gas you will get to go to places that will blow your mind, just don't try and go as deep AS he does.
