First time deploying my underwater drone from my 24 year old renovated boat, we also try some home made GoPro mounts for the fishing rod and pump up a paddleboard with a rechargeable pump from Airbank D6 Pro

You should put a counter weight on the go pro so it lands the right way up on the sea bed each time. Very similar to what they do with method feeders or feeders in fishing, if that makes sense?

Great video, liked the sub could you use it to get closer to the seals or shipwrecks, would be good to through some chum and film with the sub . really enjoy you're videos great content and beautifully shot.

I need to win the lottery or a decent amount of it to 'invest' in three or twenty cameras to place in situ around the coast up here. The water is murky af in the Moray Firth so infrareds are needed to be placed near the seal colonies to see what's swimming around here. Orca's can't hunt here because the sea isn't deep enough for their liking but small, even decent sized Whites might pop up now and again but the water's like soup.

can you record the fish finder, when the sub is underneath to see the trace on screen, and the go pro would it be better if it faced up off the bottom almost to leave it on the seabed.

I think you should drop a animal carcass to the sea bed and keep revisiting it to see what sort of creatures feed on it and how long it takes to be totally eaten .sort of like a time lapse video especially if you could do it at 100 meters which I believe you said was the max depth the sub could go to .
