Nice place for a wind farm... Maybe not solar panels..! This is where you peg the corners BEFORE you assemble the tent...and pull the pegs AFTER you take it apart!

I was Scuba Diving under Bournemouth Pier 4 weeks ago on my own. I regularly see Basking Shark out in the Channel, but never so close to the shore. Even if it was a Basking, I would have still crapped myself if it came out of nowhere :P

Just catching up on some of your past videos... This looks absolutely idyllic! I can just see myself sitting on that beach, with a nice bottle of wine, listening to my favourite music and watching the sun go down. I love being near water - the ocean, a loch, a river or even a canal, nothing beats it in my eyes. Wonderful, absolutely wonderful! 💙👊

You can reduce your risk of losing the camera by having the lure below tied onto a weaker leader line than the line your camera is on! ie: 50lb braid for the camera and 10lb flurocarbon for your lure

People freak out over white sharks, but the truth is attacks from them are rare. There are thousands on both US coasts. In the waters around New England they estimate at least 800 regularly visit to feed on seals every Summer. Check out The Malibu Artist if you want to see exciting drone footage of great whites swimming with people. He's filmed hundreds of whites, many coming very close to shore while people are in the water. I'd bet my life there's whites in British waters. Just because you haven't seen one, doesn't mean they aren't there. Remember, it was widely believed they weren't in the Med. either, but now we know better. Swim, have fun, and don't worry too much about them.✌️🤟

I live in E. US & have been following Ocearch (via app) for about 4 yrs now and was excited to learn today about their European expedition. I was very surprised to hear they weren't going to search British waters and wonder why they decided not to do so. Now we know; thanks.

Can you make the boat a tent? I wondered this with my 365. Using a line from the A Frame down to the bow I bet you could hang a tarpaulin over it to make a tent!

The 24hr trip sounds like fun! If you can rig a tarp on that boat, would a hammock set up be possible? Even at an angle like a chair, proper self rocking hammock (or would it be self stabilizing?) Awesome vid as always👍

You said it is 4not as good as a GoPro or a DJI ? Was it the insta360 3 ? To me that’s a fabulous camera. I’ve got GoPro’s but can not comment on DJI I use their mics and drones all the time. I’ve lost 5 DJI drones in Loch Etive in 12 months across 2023/24 lol one was taken by a EAGLE 🦅 it had the sense to put in the water to stop the blades from spinning then flew off. Been keeping my eye out for any Eagles selling drones on eBay lol Thanks for sharing Ray K. UK 🇬🇧 YNWA.

Yes bud i have the X3 not the X4. I’ve recently gone from GoPro 12 to DJI action 4, I did a video on it here on the channel. I’ve also lost a fair few drones 🥴😂

Sharks are behaving more strangely in recent years. Attacks are definitely becoming more frequent even in waters less than knee depth.

One more thing I want to add is I have been in the water with a thresher shark and they have a very tapered, bullet like head. Not the wide head in the video. The thresher I saw was 10ft long so a 5 ft shark and 5 ft tail. This video did not show a 50/50 ratio between body and tail. One more thing to add a basking shark is more likely to be inshore than a thresher.
@drk3214 күн бұрын
First off, mad respect for your channel as I have stated before. Eliminating thresher shark. You can se the pelvic fins way in the back and if it was a thresher the caudal fin (tail) would equal the length of the body which it clearly does not. Tope? 11 ft? not likely. Why this is a basking shark: its size. Only one shark known in UK waters that reach 11ft, a basking shark. Also the prominent pelvic fins of a basking shark but most indicative is the way the area which would be around the gills flares out exactly like the filter feeding basking shark. Small one but they begin life even smaller. The color is right too. The location says it should be no surprised to encounter a basking shark. But the flared gills give it away. My $0.02
