A simple, flavorful salmon recipe. This Honey Butter Old Bay Salmon is perfect to eat by itself, on a salad, or with a mix of veggies. All you need is 8 ingredients, and 20 minutes to make this tasty Salmon.
Ingredients
3 salmon fillets
1 tsp seasoned salt
2-3 tsp old bay
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 cup honey
4 tbsp. unsalted butter
1/2 lemon juice (optional)

I can’t remember the last cooking tutorial that blew my mind. When you took the fish out and added the honey, that honestly gave me a lightbulb moment 💡 💭 I’ve always had trouble focusing on my sauce because all the recipes I watched mix it with the fish frying at the same time… that is too much going on for my brain, so thank you for showing me a different way! 💕🤗

Yes! List the ingredients at the START of your videos. Great recipe. Prepared it today, 9/3/22, and it was delicious. I didn’t cook the fillets as long as you suggested because for me that would have over cooked the fish. At a medium high temp, I cooked them for no more than 3.5 minutes per side. This will produce a nice sear. When you remove the fish to prepare the sauce, the fish will continue to cook. Delicious.

This is how you ruin salmon… this “cook” is essentially killing all the salmon taste. Why bother eating salmon if you eat it like this…

Thank you for this recipe !! I substituted parsley with Oregano (didnt have my car to grab parsley from the store) I also substituted the butter with coconut oil. I also rubbed coconut oil on my salmon rather than olive oil. I find olive oil to be kind of heavy, whereas coconut is light. It turned out so well!!! Thank you 🙏🏾 (my first time preparing salmon by the way 💪🏾😊)
