Actually Gibbetoo Gibgib his Finnish accent is real. I am of Finnish descent (first generation USA). All of my Finnish speaking relatives sound just like this when speaking English. It's funny, though, that I can't do it, even though I can speak rudimentary Finnish that I learned as a boy.

@@hpisila Actually I would also agree that he forces the accent, makes it more funny. He sometimes looses it while talking fast, then getting back to it.

There is an innocence that is part of Ismo's delivery that enhances the natural humor that makes him one of the funniest men on the planet. I love his humor.

Ismo, you are a natural. You are one of the funniest men I have ever seen do standup comedy. You see things that the rest of us don't notice, and that is a great part of what is so humorous. There is an innocence in your delivery that enhances the humor a thousand times. Keep doing what you are doing. We love it. And we are very fortunate that you have chosen to come to the United States and to share your wonderful wit with us.

I have to be the one pointing out, that in the scene it was never one guy saying "is it a bird.. is it a plane... etc" But by THREE different people! And they are not ASKING, they are GUESSING! Man:" It's a bird!" Woman:"It's a plane!" Another man:"It's superman!" Interesting, isn't it?! :-D

Yeah, the soaring ones are about the only ones to mistake. But they don't usually fly in such a straight line, often they circle at least a bit. And they might move more vertically

I think it's his delivery. I'm a Finn and I've seen tons of his stuff in Finnish, and he has very similar awkward delivery in Finnish as well, where you're kinda not sure if he's lost his train of thought or if he knows what he's supposed to say next or he's gonna be distracted and whatnot, and then he just barely keeps the show going. Or something. I don't really know but I always found his delivery to be fascinating, and I think it works very similarly in his English stuff. If anything, he seems more focused in English.

There has been some Ismo's stand up videos in the tube uploaded by 3rd party and now Ismo has been uploading same jokes to his personal youtube account.. which I consider as smart move. Opposite would have been suing the guy and we would have left with much less Ismo in the tube.

The height.distance plays a role, Ismo. A bird could become a plane when it nears. Not the way around, obviously. And that still is with a B. It's not "oviously", is it? ;)
