I was called “brother” after being shouted at by a wild customer at a store. Our store had a policy of holding all game console purchases behind the counter until purchase, and the woman buying a 3DS yelled at me because I told her I had to hold onto it, but she can still shop and come check out when she was finished. She went off on me, and then started telling the customer service desk that I was racist. I was sent on break so the manager could handle it, and as I’m walking back from getting my lunch, my coworker says “That lady’s crazy. Nobody calls my brother racist.” I’m like, “uhhh… I feel I’m way too white to be a ‘brother’ but thanks.” 🤣

As a foreigner, these are the things I noticed and say time to time but putting them in the form of a joke and delivering to an audience is where he shines actually. He perfectly places examples in the correct order that it produces the highest reaction
@JimmyRingz20 сағат бұрын
@@semihboz3166SPOT ON. Many if not most of us whose first language isn't English think about these things but to produce a proper funny joke that gets laughs out of them is where Ismo shines.

It's astonishing how black american people think (and act) like they were the masters of the world, and of course of the language: "you can't say this, you can't say that, otherwise we call you a racist and then we hurt you a lot (if not worse...)" I am Italian and I am a communist, but if I lived in the USA and if I had to bear this sh*t every day I would probably think about giving them quite a sample of their medicine...

Sauna without water and lately steam is called just a Swedish sauna, as simple as that an oven basically! 😆
@pauljmorton3 күн бұрын
Not only are they built to withstand the water, they are actually designed specifically for you to throw the water. The steam that it creates is THE bath of the sauna. A dry sauna is not a sauna bath. The stove exists for the purpose of being thrown water on.

One thing I miss , something I grew up with, was the Two Ronnies... Their most hilarious sketches where always around word play (Check out "For Candles".. A True Classic) , and here we are.. someone thats attuned to what a language can be... Its could be ever lasting , and if anyone can make it so.. its ISMO
@mambomeek3 күн бұрын
Here in Scotland its similar with "excuse me". If someone is just being polite it's excuse me. If they think you've done wrong it becomes "scuse' me pal (note that this person does not ,in fact, see you as a pal in this moment)". 😂
