Well Romero is twice his size bruv.. obviously he has to create distance between himself and romero and plus.. he’s taller so it wouldn’t make sense to rush in just to get ankle picked and then have his face bashed in. Izzy is unbelievable, with the scrawny stature he's absolutely amazing, the way he breaks you down and how he's able to defend against takedowns here.. Romero was right to be cautious and depend mostly on counters, would have lost if he came all out.

Just realized how the ref tried to make them up the ante. Kudos to him. I remember Romero complaining that all Izzy did was to run. Romero was the one who refused to engage until the fourth round. By that time Izzy knew he was leading and could afford to be evasive.
