Alot of refs got no balls. So afraid of confrontations that they rather have players injured.

Some of these tackles are simply just to injure the other person. Uncomfortable to see.

Agree with you. A lot of the YC should have been RC's. All should have been Serious Foul Play. Let alone the guy that got a RC threw his gum at the referee. Me personally game would have been suspended. Referee's I get sometimes its not worth the aggravation but we need ro do the right thing. Players can get seriously hurt and it can come back on us by not addressing the situation like we should. Referees lets clean it and do better

It was a terrible call with the handball though, so i can understand being angry as it took away a goal

to be fair that handball call was atrocious. Curtis should just have accepted the referee was cheating and accepted it and lived to see another day and that referee needs to never ref again either. Terrible from both of them but the referees terrible call was the instigator on this one.

Why would a referee say and motion that a player made a play with his hand when he clearly did not? Perhaps you should wise up, because referees should NOT make up things. He can't call handball if he doesn't see it can he? He couldn't have seen it because it didn't happen. Understand?

@@neilwhitaker6284 Can you not read? Where did I claim it was a handball? I said the ref made a mistake, as does everyone. SO, it doesn’t justify that reaction. Simple enough to understand kid?

@@115MaTTy I should add that our boy Curtis deserved a red once he lost his temper and swore at the referee but the referee does not come off looking good either. In my experience a lot of dark triad personality types are drawn to refereeing because of the feeling of power it gives them. I suspect the ref sensed that our boy Curtis was emotional and he wanted to get a reaction out of him-which he did. I have a lot of experience with these types of people, they are manipulators and enjoy watching other people suffer or get upset, it gives them a sense of power and superiority. In my case because of my keen intellect and I would tell myself the only way to get back at one of these narcissistic referees was to play a great game and win. I would not argue back despite the frustration I might feel inside. Curtis should have done this. Hope this helps explain things. This referee was out of order with that call, it was more than a mistake. I believe he knew what he was doing and Curtis gave him what he wanted. In summary, Curtis deserved his red card no doubt and should act like me next time he comes across one of these referees.

because from his angle that's exactly what it looked like, dude even stuck his hand way out, unnaturally. was a bad call, for sure, but not egregious.

@@jonathanbethards3689 I am former player rather than referee but from my point of view and I think most refs would agree with me on some level is that it is wrong to call something you can't see. Or put another way the ref should only call what he sees. He shouldn't assume or guess. Its better to let a handball go because he didn't see it rather than call a handball he didn't see. Mistakes are made but it is important to only call what is seen rather than guess. If there is a handball the ref can't see because the player's body is in his line of sight that is a more understandable error in my opinion and can and will happen. Assuming something he didn't see is very weak in my opinion. The referee is not God therefore he can't let his imagination rule the game but rules and what he sees.
