Istanbul Asian Side: Best Bosphorus Ferry Trip For 50 Cents!

Let's make a Bosphorus cruise tour with a local ferry that stops in beautiful piers of the Asian side of Istanbul; Beylerbeyi, Çengelköy, Kanlıca all the way to Anadolu Kavağı. We get off at the last stop to see the Anadolu kavağı, a small village-like town with beautiful hills and Yoros Castle from Byzantium times.

We begin from Eminönü Turyol Ferry taking Eminonu Uskudar ferry goo.gl/maps/3c8wBmvCmxtUcXqJ9
Then took the Bosphorus (Uskudar - Anadolu Kavagi) Line from "Sehir Hatları" : goo.gl/maps/6T9GWibaf1tErBcp7
After seeing many beautiful stops along the Asian side of Istanbul we get off at the Anadolu Kavağı: goo.gl/maps/F9aod8xfz9uKdjR98
Here is the Yoros Castle at the top of Anadolu Kavağı: goo.gl/maps/QHxxEv5M3ZfFsdnn6
By mistake, we took the wrong ferry back and went across the Bosphorus to Sarıyer: goo.gl/maps/KLVm8PYtHsTvdUff8 BUT it would be a good idea if you want to see the other side closer when you return. You can catch the other ferry coming from Rumeli Kavağı just like we did. Make sure to check the times before you plan.

What a beautiful place! You are giving us plenty of information in your videos,and i am thankful for that. I visited Istanbul couple of years ago and also made a ferry tour on Bosphorus and Princes Islands, but as a tourist i didn't have much information about it then. When you know some local people it's different. Watching this video with you was like visiting those places again.

I would love to see your vlog of the Princess Islands. Love the heavy vessel traffic as well along the Bosphorus and the lookout points from Yoros Castle. Agreed, there is not enough time to enjoy the town. Great video.

Thanks for making and sharing this video with us and taking us through the Bosphorus. I felt like I was there too :-) In terms of ideas/suggestions could you please consider making a future video about 1) ancient cuisines (whether Ancient Anatolian, or Roman, or Greek etc etc), recipes, ingredients and/or baking and cooking techniques that are still in use in Turkey today from the ancient past or 2) about any cafes and restaurants in Turkey today that serve ancient inspired food, desserts and drinks.
