We need more running races around the world. It will bring world peace. A chance for each country to show off with a race and invite runners from everywhere. Everyone always looks so happy at the start.

The pace maker for the first 9-10k is one of the most entertaining runners I have ever seen. Completely unorthodox way of long distance running, always shaking his head like crazy!

The winner has one of the best running forms around- the closest thing to the running form of Gebreselasie, Kenenisa & Kipchoge!

We are probably looking at the new breed of runners, from Ethiopia, that can dominate the entire road race circuit.His running style reminds me of Galen Rupp.

Quierouna consulta ciudadana por parte del Peje. Si la respuesta es que los quieren que se queden y que les dé trabajo y comida como les ofreció. PERO que la consulta la haga donde están las caravanas, para que vea el resultado....

where is kipchoge?
@jakedones20995 жыл бұрын
Eliud Kipchoge? He runs marathons and not half marathons. In addition he has too big a name recognition to be running in this kind of race. They wouldn't pay him enough
@ozz37905 жыл бұрын
@@jakedones2099 u have no idea how much they pay in this race do you??? But also if he runs for money.... Then I d feel pity for him. Lol
@MilanBroz5 жыл бұрын
He makes ends meet by running if you do not understand that then I am sorry for you too..of course he runs because he likes it but he gets money for it too...
@ozz37905 жыл бұрын
@@MilanBroz ends meet by running???? 99 percent of society lives a decent life by working too. No one needs MILLIONS to do so. So basically, if u r running in races with huge prizes, it s more than just making ends meet:)

Eliud kipchoge is the worlds fastest marathon runner with 2:00:25 pb.soon he might be doing it under 2
@stevestarr97696 жыл бұрын
1) I fully am in awe of his 2:00:25 in a NON legal race that was set up for the attempt. He ran 4:35 per mile for a marathon, awesome. 2) He will NEVER run that fast, or faster, ever again unless it's in a similarly set-up race with pacers, a totally flat course, not turns, etc. He's def capable of breaking the world record on an eligible course, but NO WAY is he breaking 2 hours.

Haydon white women must Paula Radcliffe still holds marathon record.
@urbanaafricana6 жыл бұрын
She was most likely doping. She had a number of 'suspicious' blood samples. The technology wasn't there then, to catch cheats and they could slip under the radar. About 5,000 British athletes at that time, had questionable samples. There's absolutely no way she could have run that fast without some 'help'. Mary Keitany has been the most consistent female marathoner and the fastest she has managed is 2:18. Sorry if it hurts your fragile ego, but white women are nothing to write home about in the world of distance running. The fact that they don't even feature in the half marathon and struggle in a basic 10km race, tells you that Radcliffe's record is illegitimate.

It's safe to say that unless you are African or have African descent then you will never be the best long distance runner. Ethiopia and Kenya dominate long distance running.
@stevestarr97696 жыл бұрын
Well, the chemists are working on that now (and don't forget, the Africans are doping now too.)
@MegaMick566 жыл бұрын
Jordan Shaw a lot of Kenyan and Ethiopian runners are being found out at last. I used to believe that certain icons were drug free I don't anymore. They have ruined the sport as far as I am concerned.

The moment black Africa pride is mentioned the allegation start typically western propaganda.

Since only African players win the marathon is not interesting. In the 1970s and early 2000s, there were many countries competing against each other.

@dogdaybreak31576 жыл бұрын
And they'll forget you too as they fly by your slow ass.
@stevestarr97696 жыл бұрын
You're right. And that has not a thing to do with the fact that the general sporting public doesn't give a rat's ass about this great sport that once had heroes fans could relate to. At one time, the man in the street knew who Frank Shorter or Bill Rodgers was.....now, people that run a major road race couldn't name a single person that might have finished in the the top 3 of the very race they ran in.
@0x9bh476 жыл бұрын
Well learn their names then! Stop crying that Billy, Frank, or whomever isn't winning anymore and understand the game has changed. And just because they may have non-Anglo names doesn't make them any less qualified to be a champion or hero of the sport. You and many others may not seem in that light, but there are many runners training to be like them instead of comment complaining =]
@stevestarr97696 жыл бұрын
Gebrselassie, Kipchoge, Tergat were/are my running heroes......but NO typical American knows (or cares) about them. People of ANY country want ONE OF THEIR OWN to win....that's normal.
@0x9bh476 жыл бұрын
Definitely.... Even with sprints (in particular the 400m) Americans are slowly losing ground to the Caribbean and Africa ( See Botswana's runners).
