This was one of the most refreshing vids we’ve watched in a long time. Love your honesty, and while you shouldn’t feel you need to justify how you manage your travels, it was just so refreshing to see how open you were about everything. I saw a couple of those questions about how you afford your truck etc on your previous videos, and whilst I take my proverbial hat off to you for sharing that part of your journey it really is nobody's business but your own. We often get the "it must be nice to be able to afford one of those, or the how?" question about our Canter. The answer to that is most of the mods on ours were designed, manufactured, and fitted by me. It took years of engineering study and years hands-on in the research and legal engineering fields to get where I did, and the reward to both of us was to 'build' the exact truck we always wanted - right down to every last detail. You are spot on about the fact that people should be happy for others when they work hard to have the lifestyle they want and get to enjoy it. You'd think we'd be a bit better than some of those comments. With any luck the fact you dealt with the subject so patiently and with such good grace might even convince some of those commenters to eat a little 'humble pie' and check their assumptions next time they feel compelled to comment. Well done, and enjoy every moment of what you've sacrificed so much to have.

You shouldn’t have to feel like you have to explain the “how” you do it and afford it, people are always going to judge & question, you can’t change that but you can change how you let it effect you - so don’t let the haters get to you. People don't realise that the NPS is an insanely VFM product. You don't have to spend for GCM upgrades of any sort and with the right tyres, it does well off-road. People just think that bigger equals more money, wait till they find the actual cost of making an LC79 off-road worthy.
