Ok, so, I have ADHD too, but sometimes my thoughts are just echos of things I hear in the real world. For instance, a dog just barked outside and my brain internally imitated it. Those moments, combined with when I can't focus on anything and keep zoning out create the "No thoughts, head empty" effect for me. I have work in half an hour and today is a no thoughts day

@@cat_of_spades6774 Your true name is the name you prefer to be called. For many that happens to be their birth name, but for others, whether it be a nickname, alteration, or something else entirely, it isn't their birth name that is their true name.

Walking through a Grocery store with its music playing and mild ambient sounds of carts and talking in the background, a good mood in my aura and a mild smile upon my face, Any occasional how do you do vibing through by vocal cords. I reached the bathroom and close the door… Silence… Nary even the fluorescent hum to be heard. Truly…completely…alone…

For that one about magic in modern society, check out the Hollows series by Kim Harrison. The main character is a witch who works as a detective and uses a paintball gun filled with enchanted paintballs to stop criminals. She also has a tech-savvy pixie who disables security systems for her and a bisexual vampire who makes an excellent getaway driver due to her superhuman reflexes. The first book is called Dead Witch Walking (every book in the series is a variation of a Clint Eastwood film title.)

I want magic to be real, fey magic and fey realms especially. It would really add that extra thrill to pass in and out of the fey realm accidentally while I’m on my daily run through the woods. Especially when they respawn me in the mortal realm in weird places. Like. I’m running through the fey wilds and the floor drops from under me and I spawn 10 feet above the ground and I need to tuck and roll to keep going. And when I do fail I remind myself this is why I wear ankle guards and keep healing potions on hand. I‘ll save up to get those enchanted Hermes brand running shoes one day so I don’t fall on my ass as much, but in the mean time I’m just happy to sharpen my reflexes.

I keep all the lights off in my room when I sleep, because I often turn around or accidentally open my eyes while trying to relax and *do you have any idea how intruding it is to be thinking of a night sky and then suddenly get confronted with a wall that looks like it's sitting outside at noon? To daydream about flying only to suddenly realise half your body is in contact with the ground which covers 85% of your cone of vision?* Darkness helps with that.

The cat -girl- at 17:54 is Maa from Nyanko Days, a fun little anime about a girl and her three cats. The fact that the cats are pocket sized cat girls is never really commented on, and seems fairly normal in that world. Also, the entire anime, from start to finish, is under half an hour long, because each episode is like 2 minutes.

I sleep with all lights on and have a very active imagination that tries to scare me. The latest form it's taken in as a shadowy something with a really long neck peeking up from the floor at me, no eyes, but I know it's looking at me. As with all other things, my initial reaction was "Oh, crap! No! Go away!" After a couple times of seeing it though, it changed to "Can you please not stare at me while I'm trying to sleep." All other things went away at this point, but this one started bobbing it's head while still very much staring at me. I don't know if this means my imagination is now mocking me, or if it decided the "creature" doesn't understand what I'm saying and is amused by the new noises I'm making.

The reason I sleep in a dark room is because then I can nicely blend with the outside dark and the hallway dark and join the rest of the crew. Leaving the lights on forces you to see the darkness as a one-way mirror.

Kermit the Frog has commitment issues. Every time Ms. Piggy suggested/demanded they get married, he clams up and fumbles his words until something/someone can conveniently interrupt the moment. His flaw is so glaring and predictable that Ms. Piggy actually has used this fact to determine who was the real Kermit and who was the imposter. He’s never does anything to address that he has a problem, and it can be argued that it has actually gotten worse over the years. That is why besides being green. That is why besides being a muppet.

09:55 I've got my walking stick so I can give any nightmare shadow demons a good smacking. They can't steal it thanks to the marbles I've tied around it. It is protected from corruption by a pillow which protects me from falling into the deep crack and neutralizes anything they try. They can still try to take Irelandball, but he is in my possession. But I've given him my little plastic hammer of smiting in his bag, juuust in case.

11:22 two things that I can do probably because of my ADHD is 1. Putting all the songs that I think are good in one list without sorting by type of music and able to listen to them in one sitting (not including when the playlist I absolutely huge I mean like going from Rock to classical music and it is fine) 2. Semi-multi reading where you know the thing that writers do where they put a giant block of one word or sentence where the characters either is in extreme pain (going ouch or it hurts) or when the minor villain gets transformed by a greater villain organization (going it's all so and so's fault or it's their fault not mine or why) over and over I'm able to go to the next part while having the block be read at the same time

9:54 I live in the middle of nowhere, so no outside lights, and I sleep in a completely dark room. I used to live in a city for a couple years, so I can sleep with lights and all that city energy, but I prefer to go without. It helps me sleep better, and I have things I’m afraid of, but the dark isn’t one of them

11:38, yeah I feel that. I pretty much always have a song playing (while writing this it was the Forgotten Crossroads them from Hollow Knight) but sometimes if I’m watching a video I can keep it off by attentively listening to the dialogue in a video, and also the self monologue thing is scarily accurate. Especially when you’ve seen the, darker side of the internet.

Actually, I kinda did it both ways, with the trained one expecting the self-taught one to either know next to nothing and be a charlatan, or blow themselves up by accident, but when he actually started listing things he's done, the trained one was very much, "Wait, what? What do you MEAN you came up with this method without reading Volume 4 of this series? What do you MEAN you did all this successfully?" "Uh, well, it just seemed like... the obvious way to go about it, to me? I dunno what to tell you, man."

I think it scares me more than the organ one I could name literally 3 organs off the top of my head that are MINIMUM $8,000 and then also remembered I have an organ at home that was made by a company that went bankrupt literally over 100 years ago and it STILL WORKS and I STILL PLAY IT and got it for free out of a remodel
