Alani Akinrinade,is one of the greatest men God gave Nigeria as a nation,I salute you sir.

I'm personally impressed by a recent interview of General Alani Akinrinade (Rtd.). Particularly: when 'Ladi Akeredolu-Ale interviews his invited guests, he's always swept me off my feet. For among others, the dexterity with which 'Ladi interviews his guests. 'Ladi is superb at that, any day! One thing that disturbs me as regards my country Nigeria, is that: even when interviewees are sincere in answering questions they're asked by interviewers, an average Nigerian will read religious and, or ethnic meanings et al, to 'em. Surely, those're what brought us as a nation and a people, this low. O Lord our God, please deliver us from that downward trend: as a people and a nation: in Jesus name. Weldone 'Ladi: my every APPRECIATION!

Hypocrite, what has he got to say? I was a teenager when I witnessed the triumvirate of General Olusegun Obasanjo, General Theophilus Danjuma, Brigadier Alani Akinrinade among many others; used their positions of power to loot the country. Obasanjo forcibly grabbed land from the poor and vulnerable in Ota, Ogun state to start his multi billion Naira Obasanjo farms in OTA.General Danjuma , opened large warehouses at Dopemu in Lagos that contained only God knows what. While Brigadier Akinrinade built the biggest hotel around Ogba, Ikeja also in Lagos state; where military officers on transfer to the state must lodge for months before they are properly accommodated at the huge expense of the Federal government because prices were inflated and the proceeds paid directly to his private account. So what is the retired General going to say about the state of the Nigerian nation? All these thieves are responsible for the poor state the country is today and ought to be rotting in jail or summarily executed.

Sir, If you could turn back the clock, would you support another war against any part of Nigeria? simple that they wish to be on their own? You said if the Yorubas rise up the Igbos will oppose it for no reason. When the Igbos rose up in 1966/1967 the Yorubas did not only opposed it they went to war and crushed the defenseless people. Why not call for a referendum that gave Southern Cameroon the right to be part of Cameroon today and the one that gave a big part of the North right to be Nigeria today or was it rigged?
