I swear to good , Kevin should be rewarded with the most deals landed. Everytime Kevin makes an offer it pretty much guarantees that other sharks will make an offer, especially Mark lol

You must not watch the show very much. Kevin's offers are usually laughed at because he is extremely greedy and doesn't offer much to boost products like Mark and Lori can. His success is taking advantage of stupid people whereas Lori promotes to the masses and Mark is just a rich dbag who can do whatever he wants. Old people like Mr Wonderful, all ages like Lori, and Mark is too rich to care and just does whatever hoping it works out in the end. Pretty sure Kevin has the least landed deals on the show also so you are speaking from a diluted place to begin with.
@KLBL-dp8mc
@KLBL-dp8mc Ай бұрын
@@LunchMeatTrumpwhy are you so hostile? The original comment was talking about how Kevin will make specific offers on purpose forcing other sharks to make something more reasonable. Example: Mark offers 15%, Kevin purposely offers 10% knowing the entrepreneur wants Mark, then Mark goes down to 10% to close the deal.

I think its a testament to just how brilliant this product is that this guy walked away with a deal after coming in with such a bonkers valuation. Lifetime sales of $170,000 over presumably multiple years (though he never actually says) which means he is likely equating a 60-100x valuation on annual revenue at $7.1 million which might be the most absurd asks in Shark Tank history. Even at the 3.5 million Laury paid, it is a monstrous multiple on the current business based solely on the speculation on the value of the idea. I actually thought even Kevin's offer was pretty reasonable given the current revenue numbers.

It's time that businesses put their money where their mouths are. If they want to carry on about 'climate change', and 'protecting the environment', then take a chance on these eating utensils. It would not be difficult to get consumers to buy them, especially in places like California. All they would have to do is raise the price of the dish by 10 cents. Big deal. Either they mean what they say, or they are just pandering. I think this guy's 'invention' is a very good one, and it would just take a few restaurants to adopt it, and it would grow, rapidly. You know, if they actually CARED about the environment like they claim.
