In the post-show and recent Cast, Ben heavily implied they started working on Galactus VS Unicron for Season 8, but delayed it because the animation team was told to work on the new RWBYxJustice League movies instead.

@@gawdtheblessedone4681FINALLY, SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED THIS FOOL POSTING. But yeah. This is an utter Galactus stomp. The highest Unicron can reasonably scale to is Abraxas, and if he wasn't safe from the Ultimate Nullifier, then Unicron sure as hell wasn't safe from it.
