Worth noting that "light beer" in the US refers to the caloric content, not the alcohol content, as it is in Australia. While some may have a lower alcohol content, it's not what they're talking about when they call it a light beer, and the difference is not anywhere near as pronounced as it would be for a light beer in Australia. Bud light, for example, is still 4.2%.

Being a baseball fan definitely helps with the baseball lore references. As others have said, light beer in the us can be as high as 6%. One of my fav episodes cause it just seems like fun and they literally by the plane tickets to just fly back lol

Also if you were wondering about their actual chugging abilities, it wasn't really beer in those cans. I think they said they were just drinking water or cream soda or something. Except for Boggs. He actually had a beer on set lol

I mostly drinks stouts and IPA’s but the rest of the world has no idea the fun it is to stay up all night/ day drinking light beer. camping, off-roading, swimming, bonfires, parties, etc. All my best memories come from these evenings/ days with my friends/ family/ lovers. And the next day you can do it all over again!

Boggs got knocked out by Barney, Don Mattingly didn't trim those sideburns, Ozzie Smith fell down the tunnel, Roger Clemens was hypnotized to believe he was a chicken, Ken Griffey Jr. took the tonic and developed gigantism, Steve Sax was arrested for murder, Steve Scoscia developed nuclear poisoning, and Jose Canseco got injured moving stuff from a burning building.

Two things live in my head from this episode: 1. Dee's hilarious phone rant and that little kick she does. 2. The performance of the woman Dennis bangs, especially that little happy squeal she does when she gets to sit next to him. Fun fact: She also played Jan in the Brady Bunch movies from the 90's.

Being from Boston….I def know who Wade Boggs is…and as a baseball card collector I have his rookie cards. He’s a Hall Of Famer who did some great things for Boston, but we kinda hate him cuz he went to the Yankees after the Redsox🤷

American light beer is still lower alcohol content than most other American lager at under 5%. It’s rarely never marketed for the average drinker in UK and Australia because we consider it weak tasting and weak content.

This is the baby. Draw character names out of a hat, (doesn't have to be a hat) Alternate between a shot of tequila and downing a beer for every drink your chosen characters takes. If there's two of you playing you pick two each, the one that's left you drop, or drop the one with the lowest Tally and swap for the leftover. It's not the best episode, (it's still great) but it is a damn fun drinking game. Next to Chardeemacdennis. Cheers gents!

How I don’t get it? Trust me I’m not talking about the alcohol. This shouldn’t be a brag but I drunk a 1 litre bourbon the other night from 1-5 in the morning. Wasn’t a fun day at work. So stupid. But I just don’t get how you can drink that much liquid. You probably had triplets in your stomach that was just beer.

Haha. That’s probably the best explanation. Obviously if you’re drinking 12 hours maybe it’s possible. I drink a 600ml water roughly every hour at work, because I’m sweating my ass off now during summer. And still feel bloated by the end. No idea how you could drink way more of fizzy alcohol.

Boggs actually drank 73 beers on a single flight. Rumors still abound that he drank 107. Some people have a genetic predisposition that lets them metabolize alcohol better. Some people are just absolute units.
