@McLerristarr
@McLerristarr 8 жыл бұрын
+Nick Agriesti That's not the point of the joke. The joke started in the very first episode. There is no possible way they expected the audience to know that two unknown actors were dating. It probably made the joke funnier to the writers, but that's not the point of it. She was probably cast because of nepotism or because it was easy to use relatives in a low-budget show, not because of the joke.

I think it's because (besides the clothes) their looks and mannerisms don't change when they're acting. Mac doesn't have a different haircut from Rob, and Charlie doesn't do a funny voice. Compare that with Danny DeVito, who always has frazzled hair and thick glasses in IASIP.
@liz7457

Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson Mostly good points, but I think Rob's hair is pretty different here vs. the show. It's usually slicked back all the way (or floppy in the front, in a few seasons); not parted like this.

I disagree with Rob. Do a kickstarter and watch the money roll in. We're not paying, we want to make our dreams a reality. Why do we want a Hollywood film ? Because it would reach a wider audience, it would put the actors/actresses more on the map but most of all it would be bigger and maybe better who knows. You could title it ''The Gang ruins Hollywood'' and you can treat Hollywood the way the gang treats its own side characters like Cricket, The waitress etc. By the end of the film you see Hollywood in ruins. I also disagree with ''we can already do everything we want on TV so movies are pointless'' angle. You can't really.

Sunny is so impressive because all these psychological analysts came into a room with self awareness and a lack of ego that let them work with each other; IASIP is a very intelligent show that constantly shows us life lessons through their mental disabilities that warp their structure and flow to amazing characters that we still can’t predict 100%

Yeah - just watching this video inspires me to write. It’s always been on my mind but I identify with what they say - having silly ideas & then nurturing them over time. We all have them, whether it be a funny conversation with a friend in a bar or on holiday with a spouse - it’s just that we don’t keep a record of them or don’t embrace the tangents of our conversations. So, I think I’m just going to note down the ****ed up ideas I think of & see what I can piece together over a year or two & see if I can mingle with like-minded people along the way.

You can see Charlie give the answers that put the boundaries of the show on themselves and not the network. He covers the ass of FX big time with what their allowed to do. They get more viewers and not so much backlash, they can do more when it comes to crossing the societally accepted boundaries set by the network. When they ask about the movie they both look at each other because its obvious they have an out plan, a movie would gross big if the network decided to put up too many barriers to the creativity. This gives them some leverage because: Easy to get enough money to cover the costs of any big producer to cover the costs of a finale if it they tried to get too racy for the network and got cut, or more likely were told they can't do something. They can do what they want now due to the viewer base. So many things they can't say because they are beholden, yet it's clear what's true if you watch the body language. I'm so happy they got big time and can now do so much with their creative freedom.
