We met good friends @travelwithfreya a few years ago through Instagram and our mutual love of cattle dogs. We love to get the chance to hike with Lisa, Silvio and their two dogs, Freya and Crusoe any chance we can. Due to the events (aka a broken ankle and torn meniscus) it has actually been almost a year since we last got together.
We met up at Graves Island Provincial Park for a hike. The park gates are open May-October, but you can still access the park by foot. There is a short, easy trail along the coast, perfect for winter adventures. The park is also a popular camping spot in the open season. There are vault toilets at the park, and they were open, however this is not the norm at NS provincial parks in the off season.
Hopefully we will get to visit with Lisa, Silvio, Freya and Crusoe again before a year has passed....no more broken bones!
