Inspiring stuff. I really appreciated the insights and tips at the start. Applicable to any hobby. Time is why I cut video games. At the end of the day, I'd spet an hour or two, but nothing to show IRL and my displays sat stagnant. Great work. Love seeing this setup

Well done on your construction work! There's still a lot to do, but a lot has already been done! I wish you all the time you need to realize all the projects around this model, because time flies! It's a pity we don't have any images of the futuristic part, which allows you to balance and recharge your batteries. Otherwise, congratulations on the detail and precision of your creations! I have the impression that 3D printers have helped you a lot in your creations, but also a lot of models bought. Keep up the good work! Bonne continuation! Stéph.

I think that the first video I saw of your model was about the lift bridge in the fishing village area. It made go back ad watch all the previous stuff. There are very few modelers out there with your eye for extreme detail, weathering and flare for the kit bash. Keep it up.

You are so very talented in bringing your mini world to life. It’s fascinating to watch. That focused patience is exhausting. I totally agree with you in having another hobby. Having antique dollhouses, sci-fi and abandoned miniatures, and doll making helps me to not get burnt out. I used to be a doll artist. I did it for years and put out half a dozen dolls at a time. All different. That was my hobby. And I burnt out. And it’s been years since I’ve done it. Working with the miniatures is getting me interested in picking it back up. Thank you for being open about your journey and sharing. And encouraging your viewers like me. I have learned a lot.

Wow 4 years! Congrats! I remember stumbling across your videos almost 4 years ago when I was reintroducing myself to the hobby. I remember thinking how great it was to find such comprehensive modeling in a style that I really wanted to try myself (similar to the Franklin & South Manchester). Your videos were generally longer then and I really appreciated all the detail you went into and you explaining your artistic philosophy. I'm grateful today for how much it guided and influenced me into developing my own style adapted to N scale. Thanks Jason and keep up the good work!

Thanks so much for all I've been able to learn from you and your videos! I picked ya up probably 6 months in from your beginnings and have enjoyed the ride! Just a suggestion, and I know you just like to have your loops of track and watch a train or two run through some amazing landscape and town. (I kinda do the same) However in the era your modeling every small town from coast to coast was heavily rail served. I think adding sidings to some of the industries would add even more realism to an already incredibly realistic layout. And every town had a passenger station of sorts. Just my 2¢ but I do love everything you're doing! Cheers. Matt 🎉 🍻

You have such an amazing talent, Jason. I know you mentioned the homes and churches being more background type things but I can't help wonder what you could do with a kit for a really big, gothic stone cathedral with stained glass windows, ivy climbing the walls and maybe a hint of an old attached churchyard/cemetery. Anyway, thanks for sharing your passion!

Hi Jason, thank you for sharing your layout design and planning concepts. You inspire us as much as we might inspire you. Amazing build in just four years. Loved the photos of the progress. I was looking at the progression photos of my layout just last night and realized that it has been fifteen years in the making although 1/2 of the year is spent with all my outdoor activities. I love that steel arched bridge in the back left side of the layout, look forward to seeing the connection with rail and train action. Your builds are spectacular with realistic color schemes. Great workshop!

Been a subscriber since 2017 and I have learned a lot from your channel, I have watched you build at the highest level and found to get there( a high level ) you have to do it again and again to get great results. Burn out and motivation goes hand and hand I feel the trick is to keep your mind doing something different with your modeling time. You have two layouts, plus a new business. I can not speak for everyone but there are so many facets to the hobby to master. Right now I am lighting my structures, when I am scratch building I figure out how I will light it. So Jason, just keep going and I will keep watching!

Dear Jason, cool milestone! Love the different plans, apart from churches and schools, why not a cemetery. Am thinking of one of the scenes from the Soprano’s. The cemetery which is located next to or almost under an overpass or bridge, whether freeway or right of way I can’t remember right now. Anyhow, it’s an absolute pleasure being one of your spectators. Awesome layout concept, just the two run arounds and main focus on the structures and scenery. Cheerio

That backdrop is absolutely stunning! As an ex-New Yorker who principally models the NYCTA subway models in both HO and exclusively in O-scale thanks to first Lifelike/Walthers until MTH finally decided to offer the NYCTA subway sets in HO, you really got my attention with that four car silver/blue R21 or R22 set on that elevated track in the background. I'm in a small 900 Sq ft apartment without room for a suitable cityscape HO subway layout and certainly zero room for running my MTH and Lionel O-scale sets even on the floor, so I can't wait to get into a much larger space. What are your plans for that subway set? I paused the video not quite midway to comment so incase you mentioned it later, how big is your layout? Great work!

I've often compared you The Great and Powerful George. The reasons are obvious. But again, young Jason, I must say, at the very least, put in some spur tracks leading to some of these industries that you say your railroad serves. Because I see no servicing. The only reason I could see building a huge diorama like this is to showcase your own buildings and/or building and weathering techniques to sell your business, which should be, creating limited run assets and as time permits, building kits to send to those who order a Pre Built Building By Jensen©. (for a lucrative fee of course) I assume this "layout" is strictly for business purpose, but if it is not, then what will you do when it's finally finished in 7 years? You'll get bored pretty quick and tear it all down. I foresee the FS&M business model working out quite well for you in the future. But still, I would like the chance to back up an empty tank car to the Red Hook Fish Oil Co. All that said, I have been watching this channel from the beginning and even though you're kind of weird, you are certainly in the top of the list when it comes to modeling.
