Rains, it pours .thunder snowed here around 3.5 inches in around 2 hrs straight up white out. Temperatures heading to mid teens enjoy the sunshine. And 60s .

I remember one year my boss man forgot to turn of the valve in the spray tank on front of the tractor and we came back the next morning all the fertilizer was dried up on the ground it was a mess and loss of money

Youre allowed to make a well everywhere you want ?when i visit colorado a fellow dairyfarmer told me you have to have waterrights on the ground, anyways thanks for the video and have a good day greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer

What is the average depth of all the wells on the farm? What year did the farm start using the first pivot?

do you cut the oats for the grain or for cover crop and this is to just give them a boost to get going

For grain, the oats we have planted for cover crop get nothing extra

nitrogen really is cheating in farming, and can only be done right so it doesn't off-gas and already be a bigger issue with the environment. we farm 12k acres and it's all drilled in with air seeder (pellet form), w/ potash. population itself took off when nitrogen started into farm yields.
