Honestly Ryan a weekly video is fine. Would even be satisfied with bi-weekly or monthly. Have no clue what goes into making one. Have heard it is alot of work though. Enjoyed seeing your Dad and he does seem to like your desk very much. Coincidence about how he feels about the chair? Hope you go for comfort there. Appreciate. ♥️👍

You did not fail Ryan. You are in no way, shape, or form required to do any thing you don't enjoy. We enjoy seeing you...happy! Here's an idea though. On the days you're not doing renovations, go pop in on Billy, Michael, his sister, or the Moon's. We then get to get our Ryan fix, but without you being stressed out. Life is too short than to do things that don't bring us happiness. I loved your dad's reaction to your desk. Well done Ry! 🤗

If you're not having fun making the videos, it's going to come through to the viewers. So, do what you like, film what you like, however often you like and just have FUN with it. The other sites I do watch show their everyday lives, pros and cons and that's what makes us feel a part of your lives. This one is spot on! Your Dad said it "very natural". Totally fine without daily vids, as much as I like renovation videos, I prefer them once a week, so not toooo many details (they remind me of the endless slow pace of the renovation of my own little old house here in Ireland).

A video does not have to be perfect for us and never feel pressured to post. Weekly viseos are fine. No need to stress yourself. My grandma told me " we are our own worse critics" which is true. Your parents' property is stunning! Looks so relaxing. Your dad looks a lot like SImon to me. I always think it a shame I am too old to have a romatic relationship with Simon and my husband would not be pleased either, Oh well. The desk is beautiful. I love watching any video from you Ryan. They can be super short or 20+ minutes (sorry, I have a short attention span, LOL). You are an amazing film maker, narrator, and entertainer! You hold a high standard for your creative content and it is worth the wait! I always enjoy seeing you, but you don't need to put the intense pressure of video creation on a daily basis on yourself... On a different note, I really enjoyed the videos you made for Billy documenting the progress of the work on the chateau while Billy was on vacation. You didn't fail. Life happens & it is what it is. Would I love to see a daily video from you? Yes, but you have so many other things to do. I'd like to see you get further on your renovation & see more progress. Once a week will be fine as I think you can get more work done at your new home if you just have one video a week. *Failure seems strong Ryan, you are an interesting guy; you could spend 10 minutes discussing all kind of things and we would watch because we are all invested in you, your thoughts and experiences. What's going on with your asian girlfriend? Drive around the village and environs around your construction sight. Do a Q&A. What about helping out Sadie, she is renovating and could use your help, It would be a bit of passing it on since Billy helped you pick up some skills. Go learn to ride horses or care for them? Doesnt count as a view until a certain percentage of the video is watched . Some people thumb up before they watch not after. Not sure about invisible comments but spam bot comments get removed by u tube when theyre picked up .

Note that YT uses an asynchronous polling system in order to collate data from multiple servers around the world, hence what one sees in terms of likes, views and so on, likewise the order of posted comments, may not be consistent with what's actually happening in "real time". This is why the view count jumps in chunks rather than climbing smoothly, likewise why those who post "First!" comments are often not seen as such depending on one's location. In theory YT could properly sync what's going on, but it's not worth the hassle, eg. should the order of interaction take into account time zone differences? Some countries have daylight savings, others don't. It's a mess. Then there's the simple things, eg. a lot of people click Like even before starting the video (I usually do). Also remember YT's complicated metric for what even counts as a view, because so many people don't watch the entire video, on any channel. Click-through rate, watch time, all sorts of parameters are involved. YT keeps tweaking how these work, though to what end who can say for sure, probably to maximise potential ad revenue. Bare in mind these stats are used to determine whether a video is promoted in the home page feeds of those who are not subscribers, with all sorts of caveats involved. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who understand how it all really works.

I guess no one ever told you about Thomas Edison and the light bulb (which he invented.) Someone asked him if he was depressed that it took him a thousand tries to make a light bulb and his replay was: "I wasn't depressed at all -- at the end, I got what I wanted." All things that have any value take time and in the end you will come to appreciate the process almost as much as the final product. Bon voyage!
