Dale and Cory seems like they would be my friends. They are my age (I am 36), but we all still skate but it’s mostly low key for fun. And they seem like chill guys.

dude I got 10' of 2" pipe sitting in the basement right now. I'm sure I've got the lumber in my shed too..... might have to DIY a 10 foot slapstick. Thanks for the inspiration. Gonna look on your site to steal the angles/side lengths :D

Hear me out. Modular slapstick. Make a curved section, like a 10ft radius. So it turns 45 degrees. Hell, a 90 would be cool.
@nickt2045 ай бұрын
Terrible idea, needs to be atleast 720 degrees
@jpizzleforizzle5 ай бұрын
@@nickt204 so...a spiral?
@mstunameow5 ай бұрын
wouldn't work. or i mean, this curved section would be totally useless without other slapsticks. the surface would have to be cut into a wedge shape. geometry n such

think about a piece of pie as a ramp where the crust is the coping. how you going to get there when the ramp meets the ground at a point. one wheel manual?

I keep getting ads from Keen Ramps competitors. WTF. Loyalty, brother! One day in the future, If ever have enough money to purchase a prefab skate ramp, I’m sticking with my boys.

I ordered an 8' slap stick a few days ago,ready for it to get here!! now I'm gonna buy a long piece of coping because I want the death gap!!

How bad does the diamond grind destroy your trucks and board? Does it not eat it up?
@Tingley195 ай бұрын
Hate to answer your question without actually answering it. But I’d assume if the metal is a softer metal, than the steel or whatever trucks are made of, you’d be fine. As the diamond grind would be the thing getting smoothed out and worn down. If not and it’s harder, then by all means. That bitch gonna slowly chunk and shave away your trucks. That sound alone hurts my heart. Hahaha

It's fine. Much less than a curb. A little more than a regular rail.
