Жыл бұрынTwo takes of "It's Today" from MAME performed by Angela Lansbury with Jerry Herman on the piano. Bookwriter Robert E. Lee provides some commentary on the source of the recording. From a December 1965 recording at Jerry Herman's home, auditioning Angela Lansbury and Kaye Ballard for the role.
In addition to this number, Angela performed the reprise of "It's Today" and "My Best Beau" while Kaye Ballard performed "Open a New Window" and "If He Walked Into My Life".

She worked so hard, if you consider how she nailed Mame in performance (and definitely more challenging roles immediately after). Class act!
