Byakuya is far stronger than Itachi in terms of stats and skills, but Itachi has way more hax. On top of that, on paper, Byakuya doesn't seem to have resistances to Itachi's hax. That is, until you remember that Byakuya is a soul, and in order for him to be damaged or affected by Itachi's hax, they have to work on a spiritual level. And I don't mean the esoteric 'spiritual' that is apart of Chakra, I mean a literal spiritual/soul based level. Does Tsykuyomi affect the soul? Does Amaterasu burn the soul? Because while Bleach souls can be touched by physical beings and objects, they can only be damaged by soul based attacks or affected by soul based hax. And on top of that, Bleach characters can neg the hax of beings far weaker than them

cut in space (from byakuya) has barely stopped the visual attacks of arrancar n°7 so it does not seem absurd to me to say that it will do the same for itachi's visual attacks

the answer is yes! itachi hax can affect souls/spirits and his sharingan see chakra which spirit energy so he will be able to see byakuya.

@@daddyGbabyyea Itachi has advantage with his sharingan hax but if byakuya figures it out that he is in genjutsu which I am pretty sure he will he will find a way to get Outta it also his zankpakto spirit will wake him up from genjutsu just like kurama can wake Naruto up from any genjutsu that's why jenchurikis can get out of genjutsu with there tailed beast help.
