TUTORIAL DESCRIPTION:
In this video I am making a resin/polyurethane clock with 9.5 geode tray mold. I will be using Lets Resin casting resin 1:1 ratio. I first drop Lets Resin alcohol inks directly on the mold in the colors of Cerulean,Rose,Aqua Marine,Dark Orchid,Azure Blue and Magenta. Then I pour clear resin on top of that filling the mold half way. I use my heat gun to pop any any bubbles. Once cured, I mix the PU-8oz, I try to mix in the Lightwish starry purple with the part A-nothing shows up- once cured, I drill a hole in the center and add a vinyl swirl pattern to the center of the piece in a rainbow metallic from Tech wrap.Then I add the top coat of clear resin and place the cabochons for the numbers and let cure. then I add the clock mechanism and hands and then outline the outer edge with a gold paint pen. #resin #resinart
