Batwoman looks more menacing and scarier than Batman in my opinion. Maybe because of Kate's pale skin and her awesome looking suit. Damn I love her.

I started reading Batwoman's New 52 earlier on this week, and it is wonderful. The story is brilliant, and I'm more than glad I chose it as my first DC comic story arch to read. Thank you for the background information, and the link, as it was much needed to help me better understand Kate and what I am reading.

I want to see more of her. I really wish they bring her over to the movie universe.

This is so sad. Batwoman could have been easily a complete piece of art in like 2 or 3 issues , but then DC interfered and messed up the creative team. Think about it, what would have happened to a known classic tales that are considered now the masterpieces of the comicbook genre. Like the Dark Phoenix Saga. Think about what would have happened if someone was to halt the creative team 2 issues before the ending of the epic tale. It would lose it's impact and we would never look at it the same way people are looking at it today. Think about Watchmen without it's final two chapter. Think about Azzarelo's Wonder-Woman switching it's creative team and getting a different ending. A shallow one. An averege one. The book could never be the same. That's the deal with Batwoman. It should have been a hall of fame material. A must have in every comic book collection and library. Instead what we got is an unfinished creation. A thing of compromise. And it will always be rememberd as a sweet-sour piece, as it was so promising yes lack it's final note, making it an incomplete creation. As you said, Kate should have been an A-list character, and this Batwoman run - as one of the best runs of all time. Alas, enter DC... Shame. Tragic, really. It's sadden me to think about it...

I remember reading Batwoman. It's been awhile since I stopped reading DC shortly after the New 52 started. I always thought she looked sickly. Yeah she is a redhead, but that is not just pale, that is white in the truest form. The first bat character to wear a wig. Though it was weird to be the same hair color. She was definitely an interesting character and Alice an interesting villain.

Batwoman is a bad ass. I hope Jena Meloni is Kate Kane or Barbara Gordon. I'd rather see her as Kate Kane than Kelly but then again she can be a mix of all of them. She could have left Gotham after being sick of living with Parents who were addicted to drugs and she goes around the world training and once she returns to Gotham she eventually finds Batman and they join forces.

It might not be important to some people but it matters to each Military Branch when they are mistaken. Kate did NOT join the Marines. She joined the US Army. West Point is an Army Academy. Her father and mother were Army. Also, her did wasn’t proud of her because she don’t lie to herself but that she had honor and integrity. Which are some of the Army values and for that, her Father respected and supported her decision. Sorry just a pet peeve.

I didn´t buy the Batwoman comics but I did read most of it thanks to a friend that did get her comics and let me read them. And I agree. The Batwoman comics series is great. However, I have to disagree STRONGLY as the mention of this being the best series of the New 52. It was Wonder Woman, even though to each their own, this was actually acclaimed by most (if not all) reviews at the time.
