Yes Lemmy is a legend, Motorhead does have a slow tender song that will make you cry if you read the lyrics with the song, it's called 1916 and is about WW1. I heavily second Willy Wonka's suggestion of Hawkwind they're out of this world, they invented "Space Rock" are a genre of one and one of the institutions of rock music, they inspired such bands as the Sex Pistols.I suggest their song Space Is Deep as it is a fantastic song and will take you on a great journey into outer (or inner space) and has a fantastic video also, I can't recommend them enough. Motorhead is my all time favorite band! I saw them 8 times back in the 80's. I have never seen a more diverse crowd. There were long haired rockers, punks with everything from bald to Mohawks. Bikers, country girls and guys, I saw a few big Samoans and pretty much every ethnicity. It was amazing, everyone got along.

Check out Lemmy's old band Hawkwind. They're more psychedelic and less aggressive. It's like space rock or like some weird combo of prog, folk, metal and punk. If you want an in check out their song Motorhead, sung by Lemmy. That one is weird with a kinda southern rock vibe but it's pretty cool. As for a Motorhead song i recommend Overkill.
