Bro I laughed so hard when you said "by the tesseract" you said that so seriously too lmaooo I think the cube represents the media which follows them everywhere and tries to capture every aspect of their lives as idols and they're trying to escape from that and live their relationship happily in private. But in the end it catches up with them and kills the relationship just like in real life idols break up their relationships because of the backlash that they get from "fans" on social media. About the camera, I think it kinda also represents how the fans see them only through the camera and see idols as perfect human beings when in real life off camera they're flawed human beings just like everyone else. All in all, I think the song and mv is trying to showcase how hard it is for idols to be in relationships because of toxic fans. they're only humans who love each other but can't be together. In the end, they're even willing to sacrifice themselves (their careers) for each other and go down together. Love wins all.
