Air fryer asparagus | easy & amazing recipe!

Want to make asparagus delicious? Put it in an air fryer. Chef Degen shows a simple recipe with delicious results.
Air Fryer Asparagus
1 bundle of asparagus
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil or enough to coat
Sprinkle with salt and pepper
Add tablespoon lemon juice, if desired
Put in air fryer. Set at 390 degrees F (199 Celcius) and cook 15 to 20 minutes or until done to your liking.

Nice job on your videos! Love your presentation and the simplicity of the recipes you present great for the average cook ,and people with limited time. You should have more subscribers, hope they come in time. I've seen that if you peel the end of your asparagus and cut the ends you don't have to throw out as much.

We had wild asparagus growing in the yard of a house we bought and we thought that we'd died and gone to heaven. I used to wrap 4 or 5 in bacon and cook them on the BBQ. Oh yeah!!

Mine didn’t come out that crispy I have a Gourmia which has a button for veggie which is what I clicked. Do I need to instead click on sour fry?

I’m not familiar with that model, but don’t stress. Any air frier takes experimentation. Just keep trying different times until you get the tasty results you want. Thanks for watching and happy cooking!

Yes, that should be fine - and it’s a great use for food that would otherwise be tossed!

Stop with 2 minutes left and sprinkle on some graded Parmesan cheese. Then finish cooking 2 minutes. You can thank me later 😌

Oof..not canola oil 😳 I will replace that with extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil

Of those I would suggest avocado oil, as it has a higher smoke point and will remain stable with no risk of off-flavoring due to the higher heat of air frying.
