A woman of passion, vision, and purpose, Iyanla embodies a no-nonsense approach in her message and teaching style. Outspoken, fiery, transparent, truthful, and wise, she is living testament to the value in life’s valleys and the power of acts of faith. On stage, as she tours the world, Iyanla uses humor and straight talk to deliver her consistent message of love, forgiveness and living your best life. Today, Iyanla is the host and executive producer of the award-winning breakout hit “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” the No. 1 reality show on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. It is here that Iyanla goes behind closed doors and deep inside people’s lives to reveal emotionally riveting experiences where she applies spiritual principles to help people gain inner peace and healing by learning to “do the work.”

That coincides with what the Scripture says in Proverbs 18:21 KJV "Death and Life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof". So the Revelation I got on this is, Every time we speak breath comes out. So whether we are speaking Death or Life, each one will definitely manifest. Fruit produces it's carried seed. #LifeandMoneyFruitAllDay

I loved Iyanla and her humour… then, one day I met her in Paris airport corridors trying to catch my next flight...lol... I saw her and, so smiling, run to say hi... it was just me, and her and 2 big men... So, I am advancing towards her with a smile and these 2 men came to me so mean saying don't move ... I said, I just want to say hi... they blocked me repeating: you just cant come and say hi... and she said the same thing... I was shocked wondering if this is the same woman who call people "Beloved"... I was embarrassed and disturbed... thank God Paris airport corridors are empty and so we were just us... Since the, I don't believe her anymore... I like her message still. I will never forget that encounter...

Annie Kashamura wow that was a terrible encounter. I know ‘celebrities’ get tired of people approaching them but she must’ve really been having a bad day if she couldn’t even say hi. I have been following her for a long time and recently it seems something about her has changed...she seems more superficial than I have seen her be in the past. She’s the ‘it’ girl right now and I guess it’s hard to not let that go to your head. But like you said her message is still solid.

Annie Kashamura I have come to the conclusion that idolizing other human beings is a set up for failure, they say never meet your idols. These people have gifts and some of them are doing good but they are human and no better than anyone. I have encountered celebrities in the past and had positive and negative experiences. So now I appreciate people’s gifts but I don’t idolize them and if I see them out I won’t acknowledge them anymore than I would any other stranger. Hope you’re enjoying your wknd as well😀

I do like her. And I pray that if there's anything Joey finds abuse in her He will draw her to him and she will be one of my sisters. Because as much as I like her I'd much rather love to see her on a paradise Earth with us. And that can only happen if she decides to worship Jehovah. And it mean time I figure that if I liked her so much I will pray for her to come to know him. But she'd have to give up the Fame. And that's a hard thing to do for most people.

OMG! This is my life story to a T. I just got out of a toxic 9 yr relationship. It was horrible our 1st year and got progressively worst each yr that followed. I finally decided to choose me and let go of what’s gone or what was never there to begin with. I’m excited about loving and embracing me. Congrats to the woman speaking on her journey to Self-it’s going to be amazing!!!

I played this song every single day throughout college. Trying to make relationships work instead of just being happy with myself and completing school. This song is sooooo the truth!

Come home reminded me of how long I"be been lost..I've been homeless so much that I see home as the next place that life and circumstances throws you. I've had addresses but not home, I've lived in places and paid rent but not been at home. I loved, married shared and given but have not been at home. I will be searching for what she called home. Because I have drifted so far that I no longer believe in it..But when you find God and he fills you with his love where ever he finds you..maybe that is the home she is spiritually speaking of. I will try to follow the Hansel & Gretel bread crumbs back to a home. We love you deeply, such a spiritual compass you are.

😲 it just daened on me that in these 23yrs as a nurse, dealing WITH life and death, you just made it clear talking about the breath. Thats the first breath we take at birth coming from source ENERGY (whatever YOU call YOUR god) AND thats first breath that we take GOING back to source ENERGY! The bresth is the same, the only difference is a newborn and a person on the death 🛌 is the rapid progression of the breath to sustain/end life. The breaths in between life and death that makes the difference. It makes sense💯

This woman is the truth! She doesn't pull any punches and she says what she says -- she reminds me of that Auntie that is wise and you always go to her for advice and support and she cracks jokes but her jokes are for real. They might make you smile but it's real knowledge. I want to go to one of her shows, is she still doing those? I just want to be happy too!
