Question: How do you pair 2 devices to this at once? Does both phones need the app downloaded or just one phone needs the app and you can pair it that way?

Hey Rodrick--this is really interesting. What is the name/link of the iPhone app they used for this device because I don't see anything in the Apple App Store when I search for "izyrec"? Also, are there any features in the app (e.g., turning off the recording light, etc.) that requires additional payment/upgrading in the app? Thanks!

hey I have a question about the voice activated recording. when you begin speaking again, does it capture the first moment that you start speaking? or is there a slight delay that cuts off the first half-second-or-so of your voice? cause every voice recorder ive used seems to cut off my voice and i really wanna find one that doesn't do that. (i found one voice recorder that continuously records and captures the first 3-seconds before i start speaking.... but the unfortunate thing is that i cannot change it to 1 second... so it's rather annoying.

I need a cheap recorder I can stick in a shirt pocket and record everything that is said in an 8hr time frame, but only short, 1 or 2 minute "snippets" will ever be worth saving. So I'm thinking one that "loops", or records over itself ever 15 or 20 minutes would be easiest to live with (and cheapest?). Any suggestions?

Go look at the project and see their comparisons that shows it does all these things compared to your smartphone and something else and it shows the smartphone only does two out of the 14 or 15 things and yet your does literally all but one of them which is the 50 day stand by, which many phones do... Smh Also says that it can record up to 24 hours down at the bottom, but at the top it says it records 48 hours...

Honestly, compared to other small mics, the audio sounds hollow and compressed. Not impressed.

Since this video, they have upgraded the microphone from 512Kbps bit rate to 1536Kbps bit rate DVD level sound quality to bring the best recording performance with iZYREC recorder. They have also shared the audio samples on their KS page, the sound quality is really impressive with the upgrade.

@@RodrickViews When you (or the manufacturer) updates the video with new sound clips, please post a link in this reply. Until then, honestly the sound (in my opinion) is poor. As you can see by my channel, I've reviewed quite a few microphone systems in the past.

😂 look at all of the comments, they are all bragging about things made by this company! Yeah, that looks legit... Even if they weren't things all over their Kickstarter page that looks sketchy as hell, this and the video above are enough to make me not even look at it a second time!

so no play back options nor listening capability by a headphone. Also the Bluetooth does not connect to external speaker so you can listen to your recording and the only way to listen is to download/transfer the files to your computer and or smartphone, tablet and play back the audio. Nice backward and noninnovative thinking.

Additionally, transferring files to a computer or mobile device is a common and easy way to listen to recordings since our syncing is fast and the playback is visualized. It is not necessarily a sign of "backward and noninnovative thinking."
