I love this so much! It is so good! I love Izzex so much and I am so happy that they finally got the endgame they deserved! And Alex always loved Izzie. I think he loved Jo too, like I liked Jolex and I do think that Alex loved Jo, I do, but he always loved Izzie too. Even when he loved Jo, he loved Izzie. People think that you can’t love more than one person but I don’t think that’s true. I think just because you move on and love someone else, someone new, doesn’t mean that you don’t love the person your moving on from. Yes, Alex moved on from Izzie. Things happened, Alex got with Lexie but still wasn’t over Izzie, they broke up, Alex got with Lucy and I think was kind of over Izzie but if Izzie had came back then I think Alex would’ve chosen Izzie, time passed and Jo came along. They were friends, he had a crush on her, they got together and fell in love. Alex loved Jo and Jo loved Alex. But Alex loved Izzie too. Alex thought of her, brought her up a lot. He planned a whole life for her. People say that because he imagined her married and stuff that he didn’t love her anymore, but I think it’s the exact opposite. He imagined her married and happy because he loved her. When you love someone so much, you want them to be happy, even if it’s not with you. Alex loved Izzie so much that he wanted her to be married and happy even if it wasn’t with him. Alex loved Izzie from the first time they met at the intern mixer. He had a crush on her all throughout season 1 (hence why he picked on her. It’s like the old like saying like “boys only pick on the girls that they like” or something it was like he liked her but back then he had such a big like “oh I’m so tough” thing going on that he picked on her to try and cover up the fact that he liked her) Alex never stopped loving Izzie. Izzie was his Derek (he even said that. He said when he was with Jo that he thought that Izzie was his true love, his soulmate. He said “maybe you only get one” and Meredith said “one what? Soulmate or true love?” And Alex gave her a nod and she said “well then who-“ and Alex gave her a look like “come on Mer” and she said “Izzie?” And Alex nodded and she said “Alex, Izzie wasn’t your one true love. And even if she was-“ and Alex said “What was Derek? Are you telling me that you think that that’s coming around again?” Alex always loved Izzie) And also in the letter, people say that he loved Jo more because he said like “if it was just between two woman I love, I would choose my wife” so people say “see that means he loves Jo more” and there are a few things with that. One, people say that he doesn’t love Izzie and that he loves Jo and only Jo not Izzie and use that statement as proof of that, but he says “if it were just about two woman I love” which means that he loves BOTH Jo AND Izzie. Second of all, notice how he said “I would choose my wife” and not “I would choose Jo” that’s important. He would choose his WIFE. Because she’s his wife. He made a promise to her, of course he’d stay with his current wife if it wasn’t for the children. But it’s not because he loves her more, it’s because she’s his WIFE. If Izzie was his current wife, I think he would’ve said the same thing. He loves them both but one is his wife. And also he said “I love Jo” when talking about Jo, but when talking about Izzie he said “I’m in love with Izzie” and there’s a difference between loving someone and being in love with someone. He loves Jo, but he’s in love with Izzie. Always has been and always will be (Also btw sorry this is so long)

Now they will spend their lifetimes together. Yay!
