This video is specific to the 2015-2024 F-150 EcoBoost 3.5L, installation on the 2011-2014 is similar however.

2023 3.5L Ecoboost; I couldn't get the J-clips on far enough. Not sure if the battery tray flange was redesigned. Used rivets instead of clips and screws.

On the 2021 and newer trucks you will need to use the supplied M6 lock nuts instead of the clips 👍

In our experience, no. The only time we see any clean side collection out of these trucks is when they're hooked to a heavy trailer all day every day. The passenger side (dirty side) is all you need for the average user.

The hose side with the mesh should be the side going to the intake?

No, the filter side of the can should go to the PCV valve. The open port should go to the intake. Dirty air comes into the filter, clean air passes on to the intake.

Can I just pull the ends off and trim the hose?

@@HungBallz69 It's all push lock hose and barbed connections so you might not be able to pull them off but you can cut through the dress up ends and hose and shorten if you'd like. If you have more questions feel free to reach out to us at info@jlosc.com

As far as we know they won't fail the smog test with an oil separator, however we are unable to ship to CA due to CARB regulations.
