Gotta admit, its honestly hard even for the other side, the honest people who are just interested in you as a person. You can always find people around you thinking that you are dating that person because you are a “weabo” or wtv its called, or thinking you are just dating that other person because of his/her race as asian. I know cuz that was my experience in college. We both met each other after talking about Harry Potter and the series, started dating and everyone just like assume i was into that anime and stuff but I didnt even know the ethnicity of my ex, turns out she wasnt even Japanese, she was Vietnamese. It was annoying and because I was such a immature jerk I avoided dating asian girls for that experience alone. Now I learned that its better to just date people who interest you as a person and forget what the people around you thinks.
