Steve perry, I understand you cynicism. but I would say to you that if there is a Rapture, its restricted to believers. If you are not saved then you will not be raptured. Lets tell others to concentrate on that; not to be raptured or not.

My questions to you; are the gentiles that get saved after the "pre-tribulation rapture" part of the church? if yes, then are they appointed to wrath? Consider Rev 6 when the martyred saints cry out when will their blood be avenged and judgement fall upon those on the earth, the response was to wait a little while longer for the full number of martyred saints which had not been reached yet (this is the fifth seal) then sixth seal is broken and the celestial signs given by the prophets, apostles and our Lord Jesus occur and the inhabitants of the earth try to hide from the wrath of the lamb. I too follow Dr. McGee for years and continue to learn from his teachings as I remain reading, studying, praying, and living out every word from the mouth of God, however I do not agree with his pre-tribulation views. Some things to think about in eschatological studies -you will find similarities but that doesn't mean sameness. Matthew 24 (Olivet Discourse) is for Israel not the Church. The Church wasn't birthed until the day of Pentecost. Keep that in mind when you read it. There are tribulation(s) and The Tribulation period. There are anti-christ(s) and the Anti-Christ. The Biblical term is "Time of Jacob's Trouble" not for the Church but for unrepentant Israel. That week of years or 7 year period is to purify the Jews for the Millennial Reign, to drive Israel to faith in Yeshua -Jesus. (The Book The Revelation of Jesus Christ has been undeniably proven by countless historians and scholars to have been written between 90 - 95 AD -at least 20 years AFTER the destruction in 70 AD.) IF Jesus was referring to Daniel's prophecy there in Matt. 24 as an event being fulfilled only 30 years later when 1 million Jews were killed by the Romans in 70 AD, then what of the 6 plus million that were killed by German Nazis? That happened THIS generation, birth pangs are increasing.. "Jesus himself said in Matt. 24:21, "For then there shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." **Luke 21 answers the disciples question, -"When will these things be?" THAT is where you find the answer to 70 AD destruction. (Common mistake made in Bible Prophecy.) We simply cannot allegorize the Book of Revelation, it is not a doctrine of symbols. +Stefan Scheepers I will still do what He told us to do, which is pray "Come quickly, Lord Jesus" I believe all followers should obey that command. Why? Because for all my persecuted brothers and sisters around the globe, I hope and I pray they do not have to suffer now AND suffer through the wrath of God. It seems to me that those who preach a post-tribulation rapture are hoping for exactly that. More christians have suffered persecution in the 20th century than at any other time in history. I live in America. It has made me exempt from that suffering. I pray and hope, it ends soon for their sakes.

You must study the whole word of God and not just take what some man says and make it your doctrine. You must allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in your study. I will give you a verse which backs up what Dr. McGee said. This is only one of so many that back up the pre-trib doctrine. In Revelation 3:10 God says He will keep you "from" the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole earth. The Greek word used here is "EK" which means "out of as in a place". This is the opposite of "EIS" which means "become a part of. Noah was kept thru but Enoch was taken out of.

We see in the Book of Revelation -THE Revelation of Jesus Christ. His Coming Kingdom -He alone is worthy to open the seals of judgment. He alone holds the title deed to the earth. This is a time of JUDGEMENT, to bring unrepentant ISRAEL back to God, to receive JESUS as the Christ, Messiah- "You will not see me again until you say: Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord." THEN they will see whom they have pierced, Amen! ***The Church is never mentioned again in the Book of Revelation after the letters to the 7 Churches ending in Chapter 3. You won't find it. Not until the very end of the Book, Rev. 22. Chapter 4 we are taken to the throne of God. But that's a great question. There will be multitudes of souls saved during the Tribulation, the time of Jacob's Trouble. The Bible refers to these as tribulation saints, many will be martyred for their faith. Israel is called the Elect. The seal you are referring to is unique to the time of the Tribulation. Just as we read of the mark of the beast, the mystery of iniquity is openly revealed -the lawless one proclaims to be God and demand the world including the Jews to worship him. The one who is hiding now, sinners are glorifying but then it will be revealed who they are serving. God allows us freewill, they will get what they want sadly. **144,000 Jews of the 12 tribes of Israel will be SEALED to evangelize upon the earth. God's Covenant, His Word will be preserved even when all of hell is released upon the earth. The Throne of Christ's Kingdom is coming down to this earth! Amen
