Thanks for the video. Very informative. Would you be able to tell me how the back seats are? I've noticed in the LDV that there back seats are very up right and straight while GWM and the musso are a bit more relaxed. With having kids myself I want to make sure they are comfortable too. I have already booked a demo drive with my local JAC dealership when they become available. Thanks again and look forward to more information and your review when you get yours hands on one personally. Cheers

Cheers Jayden. I actually did shoot some content in the back seat. I will try get that live for you. I'm 6ft 4, so a bit of an extreme test unit, but too far from the modern teenage boy. I fit comfortably behind the passenger seat when it was set to normal sized human depth. Back did feel a little straight, but I wasn't focused on it. When I put driver's seat back to my distance, and then tried to sit behind it, it was uncomfortable. My head began to touch the roof as I had to sit straighter, and my knees had to go either side of the driver chair. Ok for small trips, not treks and not offroad. But that's a my height person sitting behind a my height person.

Jac looks good I will definitely check it out here in Adelaide. For people saying is Chinese crap, well let me tell you every car manufacturer has its issues including Ford and Toyota. And this Chinese cars have become very reliable and a lot more price competitive than other brands

It's kinda amazing that people lack any reflectiveness when saying, "it comes from China, therefore it's crap" - people said exactly the same about Japanese cars, then Korean cars. Now look what we all drive.

What China tried to do to Australia via trade sanctions was inexcusable economic black mailing & bullying. No one can escape Chinese products , but with cars you can. If Toyota etc are too costly , Korean Musso is a reasonable quality reliable option. Check out Cadogen's report on after purchase warrantee issues with "parts & problem solving issues".

@@motivatedtravelMy feeling too. The Chinese manufacturers are probably much better regarded these days, but the distribution network is usually hell bent on making fast money.
@motivatedtravel
@motivatedtravel Ай бұрын
@@BenMitro To be fair to them, they had a local Australian distributor at the event talking through the rollout phase, starting in urban centres and then expanding to rural. It sounded like they had a plan, at least. Plus, they invested in the big local warehouse in Land Cove. So, fingers-crossed.

Likely won't know for a while as it's not out yet, but they're backing it in with a 7-year-warranty and building a local service warehouse in Sydney, so those a good signs.

Yeah I hear you. It's tough to feel comfortable with it after all those years of shotty knock-offs back in the day. Then you find out most brands roll out of the same warehouses in China, lol.

yep because the Ford Ranger engines aren't famous for blowing up? I suggest you do a search for how many issues they actually have. And that is not just Ford. Besides, keep it for the duration of the warranty and you are covered....
