His performance in Curse of the Black Pearl will always be slightly more iconic than the others. There was the slightest change in his character in the second film, it's like they took the best parts of him and made it his whole character.

i didnt notice his character changed in POTC 1-3. I always find him consistent. in 4-5 however his character feels dumb.

@@joshuaomar2992 he has some serious moments in Curse of the Black Pearl...there's a bit more complexity to his character. Something about the line delivery is different, he's just speaking naturally and not expecting to cause a stir

@@evaxnanda1648 I think I've got it, he had a bit of edge and cunning to him. You wouldn't be at complete ease working with him, even Will was constantly on his guard. Not the running joke he is now. The way he shot Barbosa and held his stare was so badass and ruthless.

I love how dedicated Johnny was to this role He got his teeth done and everything for this role. It was so funny when people who didnt realize he had gotten gold bonded teeth for this role, they were making fun of his teeth - once I explained to them that Johnny had gotten his teeth fixed like that on purpose for the role of Jack Sparrow, they appreciated it more.

I was Jack Sparrow for Halloween when I was 11 and ran just like him up to the houses to trick or treat. Not many people got the joke, most people probably just looked at my parents like their kid was a fruit.

with all the maneuvers that jack has pulled over the time we've known him in the films, i wouldnt be surprised if the cannibals were correct and jack is, indeed, a god trapped in a mortal's body. a sort of Calypso situation.

For example, so many cases of people cheating and divorce because the honest and trustworthy person you married falters and becomes dishonest behind your back.

I think what he meant was it's hard to know what an honest person is going to do because he has no clue how honest people think and can't predict what they're going to do or how to dishonestly use it to his advantage.

Thats one thing I love about Johnny Depp he brings a different personally to each part he plays. Some actors have the same expressions for every movie. That gets boring after a couple of movies. You want to see his movies to see how he performs that character. That is what sets Johnny Depp apart to me.

I… lived on POTC as a kid… unfortunately (or fortunately 🤷🏻♂️ lol) my personality is way to directly influenced by Jack. I feel like a copy cat sometimes lmao. My hands are always flying about. Thankfully his run did not rub off 😅
