The ego is a device for maintaining this belief, but it is still only your decision to use the device that enables it ot endure. How can you teach someone the value of something he has deliberately thrown away? He must have thrown it away because he did not value it. I am teaching you to associate misery with the ego and Joy with the Spirit. You have tausght yourself the opposite. You are still free to choose, but can you really want the rewards of the ego in the presence of the rewards of God? My Trust in You is greater than yours in Me at the moment, but it will not always be that way. Your mission is simple. You are asked to live so as to demonstrate that you are not an ego, and I do not choose God's channels wrongly. The Holy One shares My Turst and accepts My Atonement decisions because My decisions are never out of accord with His. I have said before that I am in charge of the Atonement. This is only because I completed My part in it as a man, and now complete it through others. My chosen channels cannot fail, because I will lend them MY Strength as long as theirs is wanting. You are the light of the world, Who is the light of world except God's Son? This then is the merely a statement of the truth about yourself. It is the opposite of a statement of pride, arrogance, or self-deception. It does not describe the self-concept you have made. It does not refer to any of the characteristics with which you have endowed your idols. It refers to you as you were created by God. It simply states the Truth. To the ego this idea is the epitome of self-glorification. But the ego does not understand humility mistaking it for self-debasement. Humility consists of accepting your role in salvation and in taking no other. It is not humility to insist you cannot be the light of the world if that is the function God assigned to you. It is only arrogance that would assert this function cannot be for you, and arrogance is always of the ego. True humility requires that you accept this idea because it is God's Voice which tells you it is True. This is a beginning step in accepting your real function on earth, It is a giant stride toward taking your rightful place in salvation. It is a positive assertion of your right to be saved, and an acknowledgement of the power that is given you to save others. It is the prefect answer to illusions, and therefore to all temptation. It brings all the images you have made about yourself to the Truth, and helps you depart in Peace, unburdened and certain of your purpose. you've brought this upon yourself for serving a corrupt government that just uses puppet to achieve power and wealth. but I think there is hope for you, praying is not the answer, finding people or a person that care and loves you may be the answer, and their are doctors out there that can treat or ease the pain. some of these comments are religious, but they are right about one thing, you must let go of your ego, or you will hurt the people around you as you just hurt others from other nations.
