I'm not sure about the aesthetics, but it's certain that BTS has made a trend of 'love yourself' trend. I am Korean and I remember that the lyrics of 99% kpop songs before BTS were mainly about love stories between ordinary men and women.

I think ‘legend’ doesn’t come every year Only once in a blue moon. Imagine me a 60 year old grandma comes to love BTS and i did not know about k pop at all. It all started with Namjoon , when i accidentally click on him during one of his vlog. Lucky thing there was a Translate on on what he was saying. This young man with his humbleness and charisma talk about music asking people to check-out the lyrics in their songs coz writing lyrics was an effort he had put in. That starts me to look up some of BTS’s songs and lead my journey to the BTS kingdom from 2015 till now only and only BTS

So much media play, but when you look at numbers, look at discography, accomplishments, contribution, influence, both as a group and individually, there is nobody close to BTS, not in the west or EAST, no girl group or boy group. BTS is special and are already legends. They went through so much sht since their debut, they never had it easy and they literally opened the door or paved the way! That means that k-pop industry now have A LOT of attention and opportunities that they didn't have almost it all internationally. Now k-pop even have more chances to promote in important places, attend and submit their music in important awards that they never dreamed about before. The "BTS paved the way" is so real, they really put K-pop in the spotlight. Even after all these years and k-pop growing, BTS is still social distancing in the charts and awards compared to the rest of the industry and I think it's because a lot of people are full with BTS and just not interest in other idols lol. I mean, I'm a fan of other artists too but I know a lot armys and non-armys that get into k-pop but they still prefer just BTS 🤷‍♀ So yeah, I think it would be interesting if you react to 'why most armys don't like kpop' by boracity since that video can give you more context about this! People are too focus and some desperate trying to find or make the "next BTS" but we all know there's not next BTS just like Yoongi said because they are unique and special. The next BTS is BTS. 💜 Anyways, Mediaplay goes crazy and it's frustrating when others get some achievements but playing dirty and it's sad that when BTS achieves something, a lot of people and media say that k-pop was the one who won something when it's not. It should be name only as BTS achievements because they are the ones that are really succeeding, it was because of their own hard work and they are the ones that are making historic things that even for western artist it's not easy it all... I discovered KPOP because of BTS and I’m grateful and loyal ARMY until the end.

One of the factors that made them so big was the fact they were excluded from the rest of the kpop industry so they had to find a different way to get themselves know so they used youtube. Of course another reason is because of their lyric's the meaning of their songs, their political, social and mental health messages within their songs, their device topics. No forgetting their use of different genres. The only thing they had in common with the kpop Industry was they were put together by a company a (failing company at that time) and trained together.

In order to be classified as a Stadium it's has to be able to seat at least 40,000 people so that's a lot of tickets to sell just to fill one small Stadium 40,000 is considered a small Stadium btw. Only one kpop group have sold out Stadium tours worldwide usually having to put on a second day (also sold out) performance.

Bts are definitely on a level that Kpop industry will not achive soon, they are not even close. But there are some groups that, I feel, don't try to copy Bts and have really good music, but are mentioned with them by others just because some common factors. Txt for exemple was the first group under Big hit after Bts, so many people started mentioning them as "The next Bts" and put so much presure on their shoulders from the begining. They started comparing them with Bts, despite their music having a complet different sound, and people were ignoring their hard work just by saying "They are popular because of Bts" which it might have been true in the begining, but they have continued to do well because of their hard work and passion. It would be really cool if you could react to them. ❤️
